Hello! This channel is all about creating. I want to work on lots of types of art so I will be creating videos about art, home DIY projects and possibly much more. So stay tuned because I have a lot of projects coming in the new year!
Artx Marker review, are they better than poscas? Or are they even worth the money?
I don't often use paint markers, but they are a great supply to keep in hand! I tested these out with the intention of trying to see if these are better than poscas. So, are they?

Hello where did u get the sketchbook that you're using??
@@04mapa hi! I got this one at Hobby Lobby! Here is a link to their website. It’s very affordable! www.hobbylobby.com/art-supplies/painting-canvas-art-surfaces/watercolor-paper-boards/master-s-touch-watercolor-book/p/81069786
New to water color. What should I look for in a sketchbook?
@@Christy_Nyeela I like hot press paper it’s a bit smoother and good for a beginner. I would also not get one that’s too big. A larger sketchbooks can be intimidating, it’d a lot of surface to fill! ♥️
Subscriber no.258! Slowly happy to have found of you!
@@Lauraisabelgonzalezart thanks so much! ♥️ hoping to fill this sketchbook in the next 6 months so I can have a new one for summer!
Great video. I am a new subscriber and looking forward to your creations. ❤❤❤
@@mywifetheartist thanks so much! I have lots of plans for December 😊
love this video :)
@@yoliao6340 thanks so much! I’m really excited to have a new sketchbook with tons of blank space to fill! 😊

Cool
WOW OML!!!!!! I wish I had one 😭 I’m literally OBSESSING over beetle juice lately it’s CRAZY!!
because you mentioned you would prefer a primary red with the holbein gouache: mixing the magenta with the yellow should give you a primary red. that's the advantage of CMY.
It does, it’s more orangey than I like but it’s closer to the shade of red I like!
My Cat walks over my watercolour pics and lets the hair dry in with the pic because she is a cute little bunny poo poo that I can't get mad at :)
It’s hard to get mad at their little faces 😂
@@katycormiea they stare like they know you won't do anything lol
i have some air dry clay so im going to try making a palette like that. i have a small space so i l use a small palette but most of my palettes are plastic, i have some porcelin palettes but are a little big for my desk especially if i have a bunch of stuff on my desk.
I love a small handy pallet! I’m actually thinking I should make some more!
Thank you for sharing this!
Hello from Michigan. A fellow small channel saying "Keep up the good work!". I enjoy painting too, but not on my channel. You do a really nice job filming. But your audio levels are too quiet, when talking to the camera. Not trying to be rude, just trying to help my fellow artist. Looking forward to more videos.
Thanks! I’m new to the whole audio thing I can get the filming part but audio is a bit of a struggle. My editing software has a bunch of settings I need to explore. Thanks for watching!
Really like the colors you chose . Painting things the way you see it is what makes your art unique 🥰🎨
Thank you! I’ve really enjoyed using this paint the colors are very unique !
beautiful❤
Thank you ♥️
these look gorgeous omg!!! <3 some quick tips because i'm learning to bookbind professionally and love to share All of The Knowledge(c): when gluing your end-pages onto your covers, make sure you don't get glue on the spine piece!!! we use a little brass bar to cover a small portion (in your case here, like 0.5cm-1cm prolly?) of the end-pages alongside/adjacent to the spine so that those are kept dry and glue-less before brushing the glue onto the rest of the cover; this sounds counter-intuitive, but if your end-pages are strong enough, this keeps everything together without pulling on the spine over time and cracking your glue. in this same vein, i would also recommend switching to fabric mull to cover your spines (not just cheesecloth, as i think mull is stronger??? alternatively, if you can't find bookbinding mull specifically/affordably, maybe repurposing a piece of cotton/linen clothing cut into strips) for adherence to the covers because paper hinges just unavoidably wear out over time (another reason why your old one might have come apart). also also, if you really really hate gluing AND you're already stitching your signatures together anyway, might i recommend you look into coptic binding if you haven't already? it's a no-glue method with a gorgeous antique-y look AND it also conveniently lays flat when opened to make your art-ing easier! good luck, friend!!! you're doing great things!!! QwQ
Thanks for the tips! I always thought the spine needed to be glued but it makes sense that it shouldn’t be. I’ll check out Coptic stitching!☀️
Huh they turned out very well and peeling the glue off your hands use to be fun in like first grade 😉😅
Very true! 😂
You need to “knead” (squish it, roll it, squish it again for a few minutes) the clay not to activate it (?) but to make it more workable as most polymer clay is a bit tough if not crumbly if not conditioned, you did it well! The Sculpy clay you used is among the weakest and softest of polymer clays (but also easy to come by and less expensive than most). Polymer clays strength (after baking) and hardness fresh out of the package is very different from brand to brand and types throughout the main brands. I highly recommend Premo and Sculpy III both are fairly easy to condition and have a good after bake strength. I love your idea of making a palette out of polymer clay, why have I never thought of that in all my years of working with PC?? 🤦🏻♀️ **Polymer clay doesn’t need to be sealed as it basically turns into plastic after cooked, using sealer for something that will have contact with water or water based paints may make the sealer come off the polymer clay, best to not even seal. The air dry clay however needs to be sealed and even then may fail. It needs to be dried for at least a week. I would love to see how the air dry palette works after it is very dry.
Thanks for the tips! I’ll take a look and see if I can get those clays. I am not experienced with clay, so if I make these again I’ll definitely have to try some better materials! Polymer clay baked hard but I need to refine my smoothing of the clay a bit if I want to make them again.
Hey kiddo. Great to see you posting again can’t wait to see what you have in store for us!
Thanks dad! ♥️

It’s kind of ugly but I think it gives it charm. If someone gave me this, I’d love it! (Sorry if saying it’s ugly hurts your feelings, just know that I can’t do any of that, so. Mine would be 1,000 times worse.)
It’s a bit sloppy so I see what you mean. I had zero patience when it comes to smoothing it out haha 😂
So cute! i have try this :)
It was a lot more fun than I thought it would be 😊
You did honor for Hagrid making such an amazing version of his home I love it sincerely subscriber
Thank you! I’m very happy with it! 😊
Nice job! But why are you so underrated
The skull is gorgeous where did you get it at I love that Aurora Borealis look to it normally just see silver ones or gold ones or black ones outside of the traditional White
I got this years ago at Ross. I’ve had it a long time. I tried it on my silver skull but it wouldn’t submerge so I used this one. It’s a little smooth so a few of the small crystals fallen off but it came out nicely!
If you put your air dry clay on to a dry sponge or foam , or a cooling rack ( for baked goods) the air will be able to circulate and dry quicker and can prevent uneven drying. Also how often do you use your palettes and how well do they hold up to the water. I want to make my own palettes but not sure if it would be cost effective in long run.
Hi! Thanks for the tip! I have use my polymer clay pallet off and on. But need to adjust me long term use of them. It’s lasted a good few months so far!
What kind of sealer do you use? :)
I used the sculpted gloss glaze. You can get it at Michaels and Joann’s. It’s a tiny bottle but it spreads a lot!
beautiful art piece ❤️💕 keep posting like ☑️ sub ☑️
Thank you! 💕
How does this look so good?
Thank you! I’ve been working on this in my mind for a long time. I think all the planning helped it come together!
nice ❤
Que lindo :)
I don't see how this is a fail. It still came out very similar to the small piece Working big is a whole different set of skills! How big was this canvas anyways? Do you think using bigger brushes would've helped? Yes, I think the bouncing was prolly super frustrating lol.
Well thank you! I wasn’t happy with it. I think your right bigger brushes would have been a good choice. I had a few bigger ones but not that big. The bouncing was so frustrating! Lol it was a 36X36 canvas and I think I needed to spend more time figuring out my textures a bit more.
It perfect❤
Thank you!
Thanks for replying 🎉
R u famous?
Not at all! Lol but I love to paint
Great Job, really Good, I love to see God's creation 🎉

Hi, Katy I've been following you for a little while now! So charming this little sketchbook you made. I especially love the cat cover. I don't ever really customize my sketchbooks that I buy ( I def don't have the skill, time or patience to make them lol) but can definitely see the charm in having paper that you already enjoy using. Do these sketchbooks you make lay flat? That is the question, haha!
Hi! Thank you so much for following me! You would be surprised that even with little experience how easy it is to make a sketchbook! You should try it! It’s mostly just folding and stitching then gluing it. Just look at any book, at one point it was just material. Sometimes you just have to trust yourself.
