I knew absolutely nothing about St. Maximilian Kolbe, but when I read about his life on Wikipedia, tears welled up in my eyes. When I learned about the Japanese monthly magazine "Rycerz Niepokalanej" that Father Kolbe, a Polish priest, began publishing in Nagasaki, Japan in May 1930, I felt a deep connection to Father Kolbe, as a Japanese person. Thank you for your comment.
