My family are all Leicester born and bred. When as a family we were catching the train from Leicester London Road Station back to Wigston Station. Unfortunately my younger 4yr old brother whilst boarding accidentally dropped his knitted rabbit down the side of the train and onto the track! He screamed and cried wanting his rabbit he cuddles, the Porter then asked the driver to move the train slightly forward which they did whilst the station master jumped down onto the track and retrieved the knitted toy, which he handed back happily to my tearful younger brother who then smiled whilst hugging the knitted rabbit. The train then pulled out of the station Rabbit and all. That 4 yr old actually grew up to become a Police office and got awarded for bravery too, maybe that station master impressed my brother that you can do anything if you try!
