Hi there, couple of questions, what is your gpu?, what platform are you streaming on? And a site like twitch has a cap on bitrate, which you can hit ignore and push a bit more bitrate. I checked your UA-cam channel you got videos from years ago and one short from 2022. What’s your platform?

Most people prefer display, hence why I showed stats of what your rig is doing, stating that there is a difference in what things demand, I did choose Fortnite at the time because it did update to the unreal engine 5 which I figure would tax a bit more than some other games. If you have a nice pc then there’s nothing to worry about and do your thing you know? Those certain people with vram bottlenecks and say doing a lot with their obs, effects, overlays etc will use more power to render. Most of the time when I have community members who are encountering issues are usually 3070 users.

You have a better rig than a good amount of folks. Definitely real nice cpu. I'm rockin the 5900x cpu. I know some people have issues, I'm not sure if they are not running admin or not which you should be doing so. I believe some folks aren't running admin, do encounter lag with game capture or so, but whatever works for you run it. You have the power to do whatever you want along with obs based on your settings. You have the vram to clear any potential bottleneck for now until gaming gets more demanding. I am speaking from being a single pc user for most of the streaming I have done to now dual pc. I don't encounter the game capture problem as much as others. It really depends on the game. Hmm.. what's your hardware? Cpu gpu. Encoder etc. How much bitrate are you using?

Essentially yes as think of bitrate like a bucket of paint. The bigger the resolution the canvas your painting on is the more paint you have to push out. So example like warzone. 720p 60 with 6000 kbps bitrate comes out clear, playing like Diablo 4 same setting but 4500 I was clear. Really depends on how much info is pushing out from the game, but 936p-1080p we realistically need to more bitrate. Which if streaming on twitch you can bypass it by clicking ignore recommendations and can go up to 7000-7800. Note that obs prob yell saying unstable but the stream was clear, normally partnered streamers get the access of 8000 bitrate however even though we can’t really hit 8k we can get close and have a clear stream.

Hey Thanks for dropping by the video and commenting. You have a good gpu which is good. I'm assuming you are streaming on twitch? Which we are defaulted to using H264. Depending on the game like example: Call of duty. Lots of frames, tons of movement etc. We may want to surpass what twitch minimum requirement states. So my most recent video doing the call of duty raid. I was actually pushing 720p 60 with 6000 bitrate due to the game is fast and has a ton of information to push into the site, however if you live stream on youtube, they recently updated to allow you to use x265 which is a better encoder that has been out for years and it actually looks better for streaming. I tested with a buddy of mine where we are pushing 1080p 60 but we did select the "ignore streaming service setting recommendations" and pushed his bitrate to 7800. Think of say your bitrate is a bucket of paint and it has to paint what you feed out. If there's a ton of movement then it will require more paint, I hope that makes sense. Then common thing is as well is to have OBS run as Admin, we want to have OBS have all the permissions it needs and resources to hold the stream and give best quality. A lot of the things are consistent such as keeping keyframe interval at 2 and max b frames at 2. There are some things you can get away with like lowering preset to p5 rather than overkilling it to P7. and multipass mode you can get away with doing quarter res which was OBS old setting of "max quality". Keep me posted on where you stream and how things turn out.

Also i found your twitch page. Your stream quality looks pretty good, I see you done quite some research to even not push 1080p and keep it 936p. I never tried that resolution yet however it looks like it's paying off for you. The game I was able to view hell let loose which not a crazy ton of things were happening across your screen so it stayed pretty clear. If anything keep it up man.

@@MurderYue hey thanks for the replies. yea ive put in a lot of work of stream to try and keep things going well i just notice we things here and there and wonder if i can make things better. i have streamed some cod just lowering few settings and it seemed fine. some times i half to cap my fps at 60 cause the stream will go all laggey not to sure why that happens thanks for the feed back and ill keep plugging away

Hey thanks for coming by my video. Could you give me some more info and what platform? So 60,000 you stated which I assume is kbps (Kilobytes per second) as that's how OBS settings are which translates to 60 mbps. Depending on the platform there's limitations. And what are your pc specs like what GPU you have in your rig/ CPU? And is that 600-700 mbps? Based on what you're saying it sounds like you may have the internet speed. What is your resolution as well. Also, depending on the game such as like call of duty it's very fast pace, therefore sometimes meeting what the site minimum isn't entirely clear, and if you stream on youtube now they did implement allowing x265 and av1 encoding depending on your gpu. 265 encoding been around for years but is clearer and better, but yeah let me know.

Yeah I stream with obs studio. I know pushing UA-cam you have to push higher. I haven’t streamed on UA-cam in a while since audience isn’t really here to tune in. Live wise. What’s your bitrate etc. UA-cam we do have to push much higher bitrate

Also 2nd note UA-cam does now support x265 encoding which is better than x264 or if you have a newer gpu UA-cam does support AV1 encoding. Consider those options as well

Ay glad I could help. There was many videos out there where I didn't see people really benchmark it. And yeah just be aware of how much power obs requires then try to balance it with the game. When stutters and crashes happen it has to rely on RAM to assist which is slower than vram. Then sometimes it crashes.

Is your bios of your motherboard up to date? Just curious what's your cpu?

@@MurderYue yeah everything was up-to-date it was the video card bios that didn't support this feature.

What's your pc specs? I noticed your resolution is quite low and bitrate. Are you using nvidia or AMD? or streaming with the cpu?

@@MurderYue Did u find my stream? nice, my res is 1260x768, I have amd (rx 560 4gb) and I changed my bitrate but it does look bad still.

@@cyberk1ng_ ​​⁠ so part of the issue with that aged gpu, is amd encoder isn’t the best in its earlier gpus and nvidia nvec encoder tends to outclass it. With bit more modern amd gpu you would be fine. there was a time my laptop had the 560. So I have some experience with the 560. obs had a AMD developer to code amd better before leaving the company, after that happened the 560 didn’t do so well. Unfortunately I don’t think your 560 is cut out for streaming. It’s just due to older encoder in it. If you have space in your cpu to handle the stream perhaps it might look better. Other than that I don’t have much more guidance. I know with the 6000 series amd implemented rdna2 which has a better encoder. Hi Jonnyelfaco, So i went to your twitch. I'm seeing you avg 3699-5159 bitrate playback. If you turn on your stats when you go back to your vod on twitch you can see what twitch is taking in. Therefore my conclusion is its either ISP which is often inconsistent sometimes, or you may have other interruptions that won't get your bitrate up to par to what twitch demands. Also, do take note that what i stated in the video is realistically a proper 1080p 60 fps stream does need to achieve above 8k, however we are limited by twitch. I would probably recommend going the 720p 60 route. I do notice some stuttering here and there. Are you playing mainly from your pc and what you state on your bio isn't just purely ps4? I see your twitch says you did convert to pc gaming. Which welcome to pc gaming. There is a newer video i made explaining a little about vram which the 3070 has only 8gb vram and depending how much you do and tax can cause stuttering as well.

However overall your stream isn't bad, its watchable just not completely smooth. Which good on that you know. Seems like maybe you have some tweaking to do and work along with how much you can output with your internet.

3rd comment I guess lol! With newer gpus out av1 encoding is actually quite impressive, however that is only really available ATM on UA-cam not twitch. 4000 series and newer amd and Intel GPU actually have this encoding, however we are still on h264 with twitch therefore needing to meet things. We adjust accordingly

Did you deactivate your twitch? I went to see how your stream fairs off if you did stream. I fix people streams often when they ask and we have to test things. There's things to factor when it comes to what hardware is doing to network stability. Of course Twitch streaming platform isn't the best but there's a balance where we can output to the best we can. Realistically 10mbps is the ideal bitrate to meet when it comes to 1080p and I mention it that the limitation of the site is a hindrance.

​@@MurderYue no if you used the links in one of my videos there outdated Its mrnolife_yt with a purple black logo with the letters FS But it also depands if you look on pc or mobile ofcourse pc have more blur then mobile and mostly known on camaras blur will always be there this will never be fully gone

And I’m also running streamlabs on my vertical monitor, not sure if that can ask one an issue

So if you are in the range of 5500 then your stream probably be better at 720p 60 to meet that bandwidth but more questions like whats your encoder, are you using nvec's encoder or you using your cpu, also note that using slobs there is a bunch of slobs interface being loaded hence why i'm not a slobs user as the mainframe of slobs is obs studio. Anyway think like each bandwidth speed has a range of where you should have your resolution. Better internet can help but depends on where you are streaming twitch, youtube or kick. Depending on the platform it does change what resolution you should stream and how much bandwidth you want to push out. But yeah also factor that when we upload to YT there is a compression that does occur. Lots of factors.

@@WiredElite Alright so I see your stream. It's pretty clear like 99% of the time. What I'm seeing is you are in twitch limitations of the 6000 bitrate. The blurry only happens sometimes, which I stated proper 1080p is more like 8000-9000 bitrate. You can if you have the upload speed bandwidth click on the ignore stream settings under stream and push 8000. I believe people like nutty he streams on twitch and has multiple vods on streaming and has experimented with it. Hence why people tend to stream 900p over 1080p. Also, uploading to a server like twitch we can't control when it decides to hiccup and drop some bitrate as nothing ever consistent. You definitely have the power of your pcs so it's definitely not your pc; it's the upload and twitch itself. I believe someone with like a 1660 GTX can still get away with an ok stream. A high stream pc rig isn't needed that much, but of course if you decide to push more then yeah. Of course, you do have to factor how many sources to additional plugins that can take away some power, but for what I'm seeing an average viewer won't notice or have a problem watching you.

I was thinking perhaps that’s making it seem a bit fuzzy. I wanted to upgrade to a Elgato 4K60 Pro MK.2 You think this will help with the quality and the ability to stream and record at the same time, without it affecting the stream? Thanks again.

I don’t think the hd60 is a real issue as it’s taking in 1080p 60 fps . And you’re most likely mirroring and I’m sure it looks fine to obs, and pushing to twitch you have limitations of it only willing to show 60 fps. You can upgrade as I mean it’ll open the door to more resolution, however you have to factor that your gpu is going to work to render it down if you push more, like say if your canvas is 1440p and now it has to downscale to 1080p. If you match canvas to output then pc has to work less. Obs basically takes all the things you put on it and render it and then push it to twitch. But forreal overall your quality looks good.
