I've been playing FF games since 1991, but never got around to playing FF2, until last week as a Pixel Remaster - and wow, this might be my favorite boss theme in the entire series! Hugely divine, exotic and mystical flavors abound, with traces of influences spanning ancient Persian, Indian raga, and European. Just a phenomenal piece - especially with the instrumentation. Genuinely awe inspiring stuff.

They had some of the best battle music in terminator future war scene in older Terminator movies and the laser gun sounds that sounded incredible. The war scene music themes in the older movies fit the terminator future war in my opinion and are still unmatched to this day. Once Terminator 3 came out the movies after three were ok but just couldn't be compared to the first 2 Terminator movies.

Worst boss in the game now for sure. He really needed a buff / rework since in the early versions of this game he was a complete pushover. You could just jump on the vine and slash it to death. But now.. without Fire MP you're screwed.

Watching Sephiroth fight the weapons with this music was so cold. Makes you think, no matter how many times this universe resets or characters get a second chance, Sephiroth will never stop his pursuit of Jenova and Cloud will never stop hunting for Sephiroth.

Tifa is such a great character! I love how passionate, powerful and fierce she is, but she also has this tender and soft side of her. And I think this song totally embodies that.
