After setting a personal goal to get to 100 trail hikes in a year, we’ve tackled 1/25th of our goal, including a Birthday Hike up near Lake Vermilion, MN. Subzero temperatures, snow up to our knees, encountering snow snakes, police, and maneuvering around the cross country skiers trails… We’ve had a blast, and hope to keep up the momentum to beat our goal before the year is up! Her First Solo Backpacking Trip! | Winter Backpacking |
Welp now I know how to build a tent correctly
I live in Japan I just bought this bag in black color from a second hand store (Hard Off). for around 92$ I dont know if its cheap enough or not. I have never used any such backpacks and this seemed to be a pretty good deal when comparing with new bags and models. Thanks for the explanation I got to know a lot of the features from it. I will be using it for the next few days for a backpacking trip. :)
My family has had this tent for many years. One piece of advice I would give is to make sure you put the rain fly on after putting in thin poles and before raising it up on the thick poles. Unless you are exceptionally tall
Thank you!!!!!!
Avoid eno products. They do NOT back their stuff. Made in china , cheaply engineered junk. I found that out first hand, and my 125lb wife now has two plates in her neck from a 24 inch fall when their web stitching failed instantly. They told me it was my fault for using it outdoors! The sun did it. So if you buy eno, only use it indoors!! The best way to go is USA cottage made camping gear. It’s what experienced enthusiasts use, exclusively
Wow, thanx!!
I know this is an older video but really hoping for a reply……do you know what time of year this was? Maybe May? That’s our tentative time to visit, late May but before Memorial Day 2025.
Great review. Thank you.
Incredible review, thank you
LOL the wink at 3:23 . Thanks for this video! Suprised ENO doesn't have a tutorial up themselves.
Nice thanks
Thank you!
I just have the profly xl tarp that i pivked up on marketplace. This thing is amazing. Im keeping an eye out for a good used hammock. I just use the tarp over my 80$ amazon tent and it gives me a nice dry area for cooking or just relaxing. I havent even pulled out the tent fly yet and just enjoy the full mesh ventillation in a rain storm.
Super thorough and helpful video…just getting ready to install mine which is how I stumbled on your video…same question as @diane though…how was the foundation created? 4x6’s? Can’t tell from the video. Thanx again!
What kind of drone do you use?
Bought one a little while ago. Still waiting for the weather to not be soaking wet. I’m wondering if it can be water proofed or if that would ruin it
Nice review. The sleeping bag compartment separate from the main compartment at the bottom is nice. Is there a similar shoe compartment separate from the main compartment at the front. I see some zipper in the front. Is it big enough to fit a pair of 11 sized shoes.
Just saved me 2 hours. Thnx bud
You're adorable ! Loved the review and scrolling through the comments couldn't get over how miserable some people's life's have to be. You took the hate like a champ. STAY quirky and continue living your best life. Sending virtual hug's from Long Island 💛
Awesome video! Thank you for showing the trail to the camp site
I am going to get one of those those are awesome onewin outdid themselves
My pack is 46 lbs witho food or water am i ultra heavy
the children are the unlooked-for starts of this rollicking tent setup bonanza!
I have one of those. I have found that if I hang my foot end higher than my head end I don’t slip down and it keeps my head closer to the vents. It helps a lot. I use the under quilt protector as a wind block also when I don’t want to use the sock. If you contact Onewind with your 5:50 concerns about placing Velcro for the ridge line they will address the issue. They listen to their customer concerns.
For how many days and nights could you use this?
Great vid! You do a good job and are very positive, I like that.
What is the weight limit and what is its weight? Great vid!
11 👍 Walk trought snow when is all covered with snow, so beautiful! Amazing snowy adventure, good fun! Send big greetings from Croatia ❤️🇭🇷🇭🇷🤗
Good video! ❤❤❤
Thank you for the video! I’ve been considering buying one of these. Has it held up alright? Any special care required in the wintertime?
Great vid! Gonna get the junglenest for a week or so in the field.
Found it for 10 on AliExpress, seems like a bargain so I’m gonna invest. Thanks a bunch!
I went to order one of these and the company is no longer called evolution. It is now called no cry rain fly. And they are no longer ripstop material! I repeat they are no longer ripstop material. Do not let the Amazon website fool you. They are no longer ripstop material and they are 2 1/2 pounds.
I have the Terra 50, very similar but not as big. If I may, avoid using stuff sacks to save weight. I save about a pound ditching them. 55 liters is plenty big to put all gear inside. Anything outside the pack can snag or get lost. These packs are wonderful, so comfortable, as you know, and built to the highest quality standards. I do enjoy mine. Thank you for this review.
1:05 someone just publicized their foot fetish 😂
Hang a Louie? NOT a thing.
Rebellious white walkers on the loose!
Yay more non skiers! Whoooo 🤜🤛 glad you are having a good winter, watch those hands when filming! Love Cocos hat, I have one simular! Omg so many skis! That was like a boss level fight! Skimagedon! Have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤️👍🗺🧭☕️
Hahhahah lured and tricked, Kat does the same with me! Depending on the destination, of course, she adjusts the bait accordingly. We love the music on this, guys, boom 🎶 ❤️ the snow art!
Sometimes, a person has got to do what they’ve got to do 😜
Boo skiers! Yay walking! 🚶♂️ 💙 🚶♀️
Exactly!
Happy Monday Molly, Coco 👍 ❤️ ve
Happy Monday, Ceri and Kat! Looking forward to a week that passes quickly and hopefully uneventfully 😂

Good to see your faces!!! Yay!
Dangerous minds! I was trying to think too and was also thinking Dead Poet's Society! ❤️
Congratulations on your new jobs 🎊 👏
Hello hello Molly! Coco! ❄️ we have missed your beautiful faces ❤️ that snow gives us the willies 😲 life always has to come first, even when your trillionares 💰 🤑 💸 The snowshoeing looks like great fun, is it hard on the legs? 🦵 🦌 ❄️ Wylie Kayotie definitely crashed! And the sleepy Coco and yellow snow 😆 Kat says it looked spooky deep! 👻 imagine some skiers coming by as you guys larked around! Would pay to see that 🤣 You guys are great. We loved this! Best wishes for 2023, Ceri and Kat ❤️👍🫖🥾❄️
You guys were missed Molly.
Awe! Thank you so much! I was actually thinking of you when I posted this video!
hello neighbors, from north dakota. i did some snowshoeing yesterday at Smith Grove wma. they say the cottonwoods there are the oldest in the state and that they may have been there when lewis and clark came through?
That is amazing! The cottonwoods must be HUGE! NoDak usually gets pummeled with snow… Have you had a lot of snow this year?
@@BohemianAdventurers Monsters! if i remember correct they are 18 feet around the base of the tree when i measured them. our first 2 snow falls this winter broke our total winter average. looks like you have a little more snow than i do over here. some of the deeper spots i was sinking into were almost mid-thigh. take care and safe travels neighbors✌
Hey guys! Take our like now, back for a full watch soon 👍🫖☕️
