I gave you a hard time when you did your last video. Have blanked at broadlands myself many times. Been camping with rods more times than I’ve had memorable sessions. It’s not called catching it’s called fishing. Your real. Still the David Brent of carp fishing though

Hi Aaron, yeah, we also blank many times but you do sit on your hands way too much and if their not there you got to try and find them. You should have left one rod on the spot and just flicked the other about here there and everywhere every 30 minutes to an hour or so and trying different baits maybe different rigs especially more so in a short session as you haven't got time to build a swim up and the other thing please stop forgetting stuff near on every video you forget something, when I go fishing I've pretty much got 2 or 3 of everything just in case...and chin up bud your day will come 😉

Hard fishing in that part of the lake. Fished there many years. Your either on them or ur not near full moon fish the far side all gravel. Near side winter and colder months. And yes it’s very hard to find where they are they literally never show

If after an hour, no bites! Try fishing close to the surface!! Often the carp are close to the top. Try very close to reeds and island banks. I've been fishing for carp for over 50 years!! Try different baits too including bread and worms.

Feels like it's been raining non stop for the last 18months! My lake is very close to flooded already and not even winter yet, need some prolonged dry spells

I used to fish the hardwick syndicate when smiths was a separate lake. IMO the best swim on the lake is on the bank to your right about half way up fishing 12/13 wraps towards the oak tree on the far bank on a hard spot before a drop off. We all blank (I’m struggling myself this season) pick yourself up and carry on it will come it will come good 👍🏻 don’t know when the crayfish got in there probably during floods
