The Grand Signature Piano presents Pascal and Ami Rogé in a Heritage Concert Series performance, live at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta.
Appearing at prestigious festivals and concert halls around the world, Pascal and Ami bring their “beautiful, seductive, consummate playing” (Télérama) to Indonesia in a program that highlights the influence of traditional Balinese music - Gamelan - on French classical music. With works by Debussy, Ravel and McPhee, the duo bring an intimate and cohesive partnership to the stage, bringing life to repertoire that spotlights Indonesian musical heritage.

Thank you so much for posting this beautiful concert, Pascal Roge is such a wonderful musician, he's one of my favorite interpreters of Ravel's music.
I love the way, at the end, where you are talking about needing to produce the same sound and immediately demonstrate it to perfection.
And that is the very best way to remember a departed parent! I often play for my father, and I can remember his expression but he never quite comes back to let me know if he enjoyed it.
