CrePoW on coming to the US: "We like to play CS, but we wanted to get an education"
Fragadelphia x Tap 2 is over, with Fisher Tsunami coming away with a monumental win in the final over timbermen. The collegiate team has become increasingly interesting with the recent inclusion of European talents like Alexander "AlekS" Andersson, Nils "ReFuZR" Groot, and now Milan "CrePoW" Libbrecht, who hail from Sweden, the Netherlands, and Belgium, respectively.
However, playing Counter-Strike is not the only motivation for these players to come to the United States. As CrePoW explains, there was a draw to studying at a University and earning a degree. He spoke with Dust2.us' Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore at the end of day one about his decision to come to the United States, what the team is like, and how he wouldn't be here without ReFuZR taking the leap first.

mythic is shit only freakazoid is good lol
can you ask austin when hes going to go on a diet
does he think wearing a hoodie will make his fat rolls less noticeable? never seen him without one lets get a counter on how many times he pulls down his shirt when gets up from his stank ass chjair
lets discuss the elephant in the room
someone needs to put this lard on a diet
He should join a team that actually practices if he wants to progress.
My teammates this my teammates that lol austin win some gunfights
King
csgo is still better than cs2 for me, especially in performance
Awesome interview, the title quote is a bit misleading, he meant "casual" in a different way that most people use the word "casual" but hey can't blame d2us for using a good quote. Austin is very humble and honest in his answers and I'm glad he doesn't join the bandwagon of hating on cs2, it's the only reasonable take
I’d suggest if you’re going to use quotes then to put exactly what they said verbatim, but I’m nitpicking. As always though, great interview
Really good questions, no fluff at all. I hope austin gets an offer to join another team that more fits his goals. I'm sure he's happy enough playing on mythic, but sounds like he's also interested in taking it more serious
AUSTIN PRO LEVEL SOON!?? 💚😊💚
love this guy and hope he makes it far
glad austin is so humble
This is the right decision. Just make sure you leave mythic with grace. For esports the clock is ticking, so get to every single lan you can.
Awesome interview. Agreed on CS2 bullishness
bro is overpeeking the camera fov, ngl this is the only place he can LMS and be useful
It’s cool to see Austin humble and honest
I think that's my favorite thing about Austin. He just seems like a pleasant guy to chill out with.
@@HoboWithWifi seems more like the *pushes up glasses* "UHM AWCTUALLY" type to me
@@bootymonster8490 nah. I watched one of his streams with his old team and he was the most down to earth igl id ever seen. No flaming. No ego. Just some quick thinking and an apology here and there when he messed up.
@@HoboWithWifi nah he def is lol. austin was cool till i realized he plays with boys who act as girls and have women anime pfps. dudes one of those
wow this chump shading his own team. good lucc with that attitude bud
3 kills in their last game lmfao
Haha shading.. They are litteraly a casual streaming team that never had a point to go competive. In games they are more focus on their individual streams then speaking to eachother ofc they all know that and also some of the players cash in big time due to their huge fanbase 😅 No need for them to advance, their paycheck is in streaming and be a good lad to their audience
@@usemorebrainplz-is7gy and somehow in a streaming team with a bunch of retired 30+ year old "pros", he is the worst player on that team
@@mum-your he’s a dog playing with cats, they don’t suit eachother so yes he’s going to look horrible
I’m sayin! 😅😅 how we gon throw guys like freakazoid under the bus when were averaging 0.6 kpr😭😭

Whatever they're feeding hallzerk.
American diet
American way of life, he was trying to lose weight at some point, I didn't follow the journey but I hope he perseveres. I don't live in the US but I can only imagine how hard it is to beat obesity over there
im pretty sure for 10 generations of his family they have been exclusively raising goats and pigs
Borgors
Yeah lets be honest,Austin was part of the reason Mythic got relegated as well. As much as I like the dude, his playstyle didnt fit the team at all.
He was forced into the hard support because no one else knows the util
Nah. Been watching Mythic for years, only flom and austin even attempted to practice or coordinate even a little bit, truck/cooper/freak completely mia. Hate was actually a huge loss because he was the only fucking guy left that would actually schedule scrims and practice. It's not Austin's responsibility to pick up especially if there's no buy-in from the 3/5ths of the squad.
@@nomad182 It's almost like he didn't fit the team
@@vtscll4 what a nothing response. No one would fit this team right now, because over half of them don't want to fucking play. You'd have to start with -truck at minimum and get the abadirs out of their own ass to start with. austin is gonna fix that all on his own? get real
@@vtscll4 No its more like the roster construction and team management was trash lol.
Good luck, Austin...keep pushing...you're a good dude.
To be fair, Mythic is a stream team. You can't expect a seriously dedicated team effort.
that's very true, but they can atleast try. Winning games = more exposure so them just constantly trolling is highkey stupid asf cuz they just look like robotic monkeys
how does it feel to be scape goated by "veterans" who cant fight their way out of a wet paper bag?
obviously on a green screen.
wat?
it literally isnt lmao, whats the purpose of green screening a brick wall lmao
yep.
@@BeastyBundy Not only that, but its in Philadelphia. Its literally just brick wall townhouses there. Like, they literally walked outside, stood in an alley, and had a chat and then this clown thinks they greenscreened it.

"he's the goat" "he's the gold? he's the gold."
HUH
he wanted to say so badly that the only reason that they were playing bad with guild eagles and the last 3 months with bad news eagles is because of shit of a coaches devilwalk and krystar are with ex coach -stikle they were given so much freedom and play their stoles depending from their personalites rather with devilwalk trying to play more of a disciplined based style and less "fuck it i am doing this shit because i want so and i am confident of doing it so" with stikle they just ct side and t side were more efficient and stuff obviously also with transition to cs2 the awper -gxx kinda fell of as the awp in cs2 got "nerfed" in a way and a team to be good needs a good awper and thats the reason they kinda fell off
They all were really inconsistent individually, even in CSGO. I think they had their best results with Devilwalk. They only really fell off after they got signed to Guild afaik. You need at least some Structure to beat T1 teams like Faze, i think the current SAW iteration is a very good example of that.
@@MidheimOfficial yeah, i think devilwalk is a decent guy. he was always kind.

You're doing God's work for NA Geoff/Jeff!
Good interview, does anyone read these comments?
I do! Thanks for the kind words 😀
I wonder if RUSH will ever become an IGL. NA needs more igls and he's been in the game for a LONG time now so he has the knowledge.
What a legend, one of my favourite faces in NA!!
Love how majority of the Stewie defenders pretend this guy hasn't touched the game in 3 years when the reality is that he struggled in that T3 Legacy team LOL
Anyone know whether Stewie had his cheats stored on his keyboard or mouse that he would inject to tournament PC's with? I think it was his keyboard back in the day but nowadays I can't tell.
True
And now Cadian got kicked, less than 3 weeks later.
So basically niko's style of igl is taking space then get info then execute plan
you can tell hes definitely a veteran
going 0-2 in dallas really showing his value
