Stumbled onto this video link from a Spin magazine article on Phil’s death. Woke up thinking about him today and how awesome and innovative he was. One of the best of my fellow drummers I’d ever had the privilege to share a stage with back in the day. Very cool and humble guy too. Same goes with the entire band. Just an incredible group of musicians and personalities. Extremely humble, all of them, in an age where ego seemed to be king with many talented bands. Not to mention killer songs that were way before their time!! If any band deserved world fame for their music, it was certainly L.C. It’s too bad because those 2 albums they put out back then were nothing short of brilliant! Thank you for the memories, guys!!! R.I.P. Phil…

The beauty of youtube is the ability to see bands you didn't get around to seeing back in the day! Flashback 1991... I hit my best friend up who was going to Southern CT in New Haven and was like, dude check this band out.. Last Crack.. he was like DUDE! I saw them at Toad's last night! He hadn't heard of LC yet. Said y'all were incredible live. This certainly backs that up!

Hey Pablo! We hung out on Metal Church's bus one night after they played at Headliners bar in Madison back in 1986 I helped you guys setup a party gig at a warehouse You guys rented when they were just getting started. Fun times back when the drinking age was 18/19. The Black Bear Lounge was such a hole in the wall, but fun to jam at.

I must admit, being a huge fan of BURNING TIME and in a lesser sense the first album I kinda am frustrated with the fact that the new album does not much for me .Hope to see a show anyway after all this Corona shit is over.

First off... the sound engineer should be shot. Second, if you are going to tell everyone to "do it like rehearsal" you could do them the credit of not being flat on the intro. Second... I love you guys, and have ever since I first heard you in 1991-2. That album is burned into my brain with it's brilliance. Please don't overreach and spoil it.

That's pretty cool. Congratulations Randy and Last Crack on the launch of a great career that has meaning to the fans. And thank you Randy for putting up with Savage Myth in the studio.

Although a huge part of Last Crack's sound, I wasn't drawn in by the singing. Their guitar work you hear on this album is by far some of the best interplay of two guitarists ever. Thanks again Paul for all the memories.

I had the honor of being one of probably the first 50 people in the world to hear this song as recorded in the studio. 8 Broom Street. Buddo swore us to secrecy and asked if we could play it loud. We could. And he was right, Evel Knievel had nothing on Filoy!

I'm like a kid in a candy store with all this. :D So much candy......so little time :) Seriously, the Burning Time album actually kept me together at a time when I should have scattered it all about. This is sweet candy. I couldn't make to the shows, but now it's kinda like I was there. THANK YOU

From the perspective of me hearing about these guys after they had broken up, the thing that caught my attention immediately was Phil Buerstatte's drumming. The rest of band was very good but he stood out.
