Welcome to the Bag Lady Studio! Let's Make some sewing magic!
I used RFID fabric for this and it worked out great. RFID fabric frays horribly so after I cut my piece I ran fray check along all the edges. Worked.
Whats the difference between the PQ1500sl and the PQ1500S?, thx
Very n ,great job❤❤❤❤❤ very cute love it!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Awesome very easy to follow great design great instructions
Glad you liked it!
So did it ever storm? That's a great cloud.
No just a big light show
Dear Bag Lady Studio, I really loved your videos as well as you using the brother pq1500sl. Why did you stop making videos? Please start making videos again. Many love to see them! I know I do ! ! Sincerely, Eva Barkalow
I will soon. I was having seizures for a year. We finally got them under control. Thank you so much for your sweet comment. You made my day!
Too bad brother discontinued this model
☹️
I must have missed it, what settings do you use and what delayed?
I had it in the video but I used a leather setting I believe. I’ve been ill and had to move. I hope to show more soon.
I am looking for instructions on how to change the feeder pin
I would have to call Brother customer service. I could not find a video of it. Lmk if you do find out. It’s a great sewing machine.
How do you upload ur pattern into Design Space. I have a cricket ear too, and an apple computer laptop.
I’ve only purchased svg files. There are some conversion programs but I’ve never tried them.
I’d like to delete the little circles at the end of the card slot opening. How do I do that?
When you are editing the svg file you can mark them and save as uncut. Lmk if that helps. I don’t have my cricut handy and just lost power due to a storm (thank you Kansas) so I can’t pull it up right now but I can as soon as it comes back on.
Ok Thank you so much.
juki TL18 vs Brothers 1500 Which one sews best using free mutton or which one is the best?
I only have experience with the brother and it does wonderful
Which one is better for using free moton and perfect sewing on low budget
I only have experience with the Brother. It does wonderful!
Just got one - it’s a gem. Needle threader works well, just needs patience
I need to practice more. Happy you figured it out. As soon as I feel better I’ll try to do a close up step by step of the needle threader
I just got the 1600 sl still Learning
They are great machines.
I have a 1500S brother.The bobbin hard for me.
It took practice. It’s definitely not the easiest to is though.
"Green" is an adjustable left to right zipper presser foot
Thanks 😁
Great ideas. I'm glad I'm not the only one who messes up.
I mess up more times than not but that’s how you learn. Thanks for watching.
Thicker layers need longer stitch lengths to fit through no matter the power of the machine or the condition of the needle.
I agree.
It’s better when you overdub because your mic is picking up your a/c noise in the background
Thanks. I agree.
What blade did you use? And mat?
I think it was the leather and heavy mat I’ve been dealing with newly diagnosed epilepsy and hope to get back to sewing and my cricut videos in the new year after I get my seizures under control. 🙏🏼 for in January
Ooo, no!! I hope you get well soon. Thank you for getting back to me.
I think this machine doesn't have a speed control
It’s controlled by foot pressure.
What is your settings on?
I generally set it all mid. I’ll look when I can get to my machine. I’m currently dealing with just diagnosed epilepsy so I’ve been afraid to go out to my sewing shed alone. That should be fixed soon.
The snap on your cash area looked a little low. Can you still fit bills in there?
I can.
The most important part (to me) wasn't shared lol. What setting did you choose? Vinyl, faux leather? I've tried vinyl with more/2 attempts and it still doesn't work. I'm going to try faux leather but just curious what settings you used. Thanks 🙂
I used vinyl. We moved and I was diagnosed with epilepsy. Currently I don’t have room enough to set up my cricket but plans are being made to expand my area. I did use leather setting and doubled my cut because it was thick vinyl.
I haven't seen the bag lady with any latest video 😢
I was diagnosed with epilepsy. I should be able to start back soon.
this is the video job I've ever seen
Why didn't you use the thread cutter?
It’s just my preference.
Wow That Did Make A Difference!!!...😊
Thank You For Sharing I Just Got My New Brother PQ 1500 SL I Love It . I Also Have The Brother XR3340 Which I Had Since 2018. I Akso Make Purses And Now I Love My New Machine I Can Do Heavy Fabrics And It Would Be Easy Thank You I Am Watching And Learning 😊
Love How You Made It . One Of The Best Demo I Saw I Like How You Take Your Time And Make It Fun And Easy 😊
Thank you! 😊
That sewing machine will be my new acquisition, thanks for your explanation.
You are welcome!
I love mine. Best money I ever spent.
I've had mine for about 8 years. Still sewing strong.
Loved you're hacks
Where did you get your table from that you will soon be getting set up with the knee pressed for the foot presser?
It was just a drafting table I had already.
Love the thumbnail. You should make a commission. You sold me on this product with your test video
Lol Thanks! I love the machine.
Love my machine brother pq1500sl, but sews great slow, but when I go fast it is bunched in the back? Do you have any clue why. Thank you
I have never had that issue unless I use my walking foot. What foot does this usually happen with?
Was gonna say that I think his hat is too big 😂
😂😂 yeah a bit too big
Hard to see what you are doing!!
Yes I was struggling filming those. I am going to do a take 2 in a few weeks. Thanks for attempting to watch 😁
My i ask the thread you using
I use Tex 45 from @siah swag
Does not having a speed feature bother u?
No it does not. You control it with the pressure you put on the foot.
Can you sew button with this machine?
Yes it has a foot for that also.
New subscriber. Love your video, very informative. Where did you get the pressure foot? Thank you
It came with it. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for your video. I know it's been 8 months, so I'm late. But your first skipped stitch happened because your thread was not in the guide, and you should have used a hump Jumper to level your foot with the fabric. You could have also held the thread tails before sewing. But the stitches still looked wonderful, and that's why I love my Brother 1500sl
Thanks for the tips!
We’re can I get the pattern for the purse pal
Linds Handmade. It’s a great pattern designer.
love this machine. I havevit and sew on it always
It has never disappointed me. I have not been able to do much lately (started having seizures) but I have a leather bag I cut out with my cricut and I can not wait to see how it does. Thanks for watching :)
@@thebagladystudio praying they find out about your seizures .
Not a great camera angle!
Thank you. Yes I struggled a bit but I have improved since. Thanks for the feedback.
I just found you true Marie‘s scrappy creations 😊👍🏻👍🏻🪡🧵
Thanks!!! Marie’s is awesome!
what type and sie needle and what tension do u have set? also do u ever adjust bibbin tension
I usually use a topstitch needle with a Tex 45 thread. Occasionally I adjust tension but not very often.
