I must say you can never go wrong with MyParang
Because of the blade angle, wouldn't the village parang be better at slicing? For example, if you were limbing a small tree, the duku chandong would chop through branches but the village parang would slice them off? What do you think?
A lot depends on the user when applying the striking force. Duku Chandong requires force-control with its gradual and slight curve blade, but with the Village Chandong, the pronounced canted blade angle makes easy work for de-limbing, chopping and slicing. I am leaning towards Village Chandong more day by day.

Hi one question.. what kind of series is this? This MyParang has a curve... a rounded crescent shape before the blade starts! It gives you a secure grip so you don't slip.. very nice with this model in the video.. where did you get it from? Do you sell models like this? Duku is the substitute for parang. Chandung is the model or type of the parang. To call it parang duku chandung is rather redundant.
