@@FedoraReshiramGaming there isn't sadly, if you fail have to restart from last checkpoint. I wish it was like that though as throughout the DLC it feels like you can side with a faction

Well at least you have two Battle Groups and a third made up of a pair of Autumn class at your FLEETCOM Region HQ The good news you upgraded your MACs normally the entire battle group be wipe out as people busy getting epic ships forget they only epic with upgrades plus updated the armor to stand longer in a fight. Well soon Paris and Destroyers in the mix plus likely a epic Home Fleet but also don't forget a few bombers as need everything to bring those shields down in a fight. But still need a strong anti fighter screen. Still be alert as the AI been up to nasty surprises and the Flood be careful and don't forget to try out the mines on the Prowler haven't seen anyone use it yet or the mines so likely be nice for you to check out. Intel out. please don't want to lose my office here in the capital as got a good coffee machine for once.

+45580677 I will build the prowlers and test out the mines which I'm hoping will be affective against the advance enemy. I like the idea of a small bomber squadren but I'm not sure how effective they will be but my fleet will keep expanding and don't worry, your office and coffee machine will be protected, keep working hard and we will all make it, admiral out.

it takes some time for the generators to be built but in future im gonna build more hangers so i can hopefully take out the cov fighters before they take out my guns.

+tucky tucky t You doing good Admiral. The Bad news long term they got you pin and build heavy units why you keep losing ships holding them back. They got their foot in your door and not moving it. Hold, hold the line. Good luck sir and make us proud. By the way you could always cluster your fleet with the guns force them to come after your ships into cannon range. Still be careful. The developers updated the game recently so I will be starting another play-through as I lost the save to this one -_- and I will make sure I remember to use that tactic next time. P.S.
