Did you have the resonated test pipe or the non-resonated test pipe? Also did you use the ETS adapter flanges on both sides of the test pipe?

Do you get the smell of exhaust in the cabin? Tying to decided between test pipe or the HFC.
Juan Camacho you will for sure get the fumes smell in the cabin if it’s catless. I’d go with a HFC

what setting was it on like 3500? I want mine to pop just installed it on my g8 gt I got CAI and straight pipe. trying to get the nasty ass pop you got. but ima need a tune huh?

I believe it's just the cats since it said If you look at the tags they are different. Sure hope that's all because DAMn tjat sounds GREAT

Sounds beautiful.. borla exhaust is 2-3/4” and ets test pipe is 3” is that an issue or am i wrong? Thanks you
Not an issue at all, just need two adapter gaskets to go on either side of the test pipe. After that, you are golden.
TenGen Evo, do u have a link to the gaskets u purchased for the TP? I’m looking to do this setup but for a High flow cat, I also have Borla exhaust.

@@alexGutierrez-jk3gh it will but it’s not the same due to the Converter you’ll need a trans brake instead, kinda pointless imo to have 2 step in an auto but at least the new autos have launch control

They did make a manual version of the g8. It's the g8 gxp it has a 6.2L v8 as opposed to the gt version which is automatic and is a 6.0L v8. That one is a gt though because the gxp rims are different.

i get plenty of backfires without a tune. Have yet to see flames though

Luis Albor runs great so far. no need to tune for just a catback. Gunna get more mods soon then i'll be getting tuned. i'll upload more vids for it soon
