A very superb actress. I always felt" at the height of her popularity' tv sitcoms like all in the family or the jeffersons should have written her in as a quest on an episode or two. Yet it never happened. It would have been interesting to see how miss burnett worked her comedy magic alongside legends like Jean Stapleton or Sherman hemsley. Or most of all carol o conner. Gosh that would have been a comical treat. To see archie bunker in the same film with miss carol burnett. The two comical Carol's. Yet it never happened. Still. Grateful for what comic fans received. God bless you carol.

PS: (RIP) TO THE LATE HARVEY KORMAN & THE LATE TIM CONWAY & SADLY LYLE WAGGONER ALSO JOINS THAT COLLECTION OF COMEDY GREATS. SHE WENT OUT ON TOP (MORE OR LESS) OF HER GAME & WE WILL NOT SEE ANOTHER COMEDY SHOW LIKE THIS AGAIN! IT'S GLORIOUS & YET VERY VERY SAD TO WATCH THIS. BUT, IT'S TV HISTORY, CHANGE IS GROWTH-SHE'S 100% RIGHT. GOOD LUCK TO HER FOR HER FUTURE.

Right now our country is in the middle of a Coronavirus Pandemic and President Buffoon Trump is on t.v. every day proving to us what a moron he is. The polar opposite of Carol Burnett. It's so refreshing to see and hear a class act like her after watching and listening to a man like Donald Trump who has completely failed at just being human.

  • @felixmadison5736

Lucille Ball was a legend, but Carol Burnett has eclipsed her. Carol is most definitely the 'Queen of Comedy', and the funniest woman on the planet and has been for quite some time. I remember when her show started in 1967. I had just graduated high school that summer. When my wife and I were married in 1971 we watched 'The Carol Burnett Show" every Saturday night. There was NEVER a night when she did not make us laugh out loud! Thanks for the memories Carol. If you've never watched Carol's movie, "Friendly Fire", please do so. It shows what a great actress she is. I served in Vietnam with the Army and was severely wounded in 1969 so this movie has always been special to me. I saw 'friendly fire' really happen in 'Nam when a young soldier was killed by a round from his own mortar platoon.
