I played the game a lot. It's sad that late game the gameplay gets really stale and even the aesthetics of the game which are lovely, can't save that you're getting bored of combat. I don't know how to 'fix' that issue.. the power creep speed feels off, and I don't mind the 2-d/3d aspect of space, it's good and I'm used to it. If you play the game with a critical eye you'll see both the merits and the flaws. Soundtrack helps the game immensely. I think the campaign should have been shorter and then your 'freelancer' mode could be 'post game' with some post game sub-plots etc. Just my opinion over someone who played the game a lot.

Am I missing something? The other version, at number 9. in the playlist, is also instrumental, and I'm pretty sure that one and this one are identical. Was the other one supposed to have lyrics?

I'm trying to mod the Rebel Galaxy soundtrack into Starsector, and I cant grasp enough meaning out of this song to decide where to put it. Another comment called it "The Incoherent Song", and I have to agree. Even the comment thread where people are trying to sort out the lyrics cant make much sense of it. Best I can do is that it feels like some depressed spacer drinking himself to death in bar at some backwater station. Maybe after getting betrayed by a woman he trusted. In the end I'm probably gonna use it for the low-intensity traveling-through-space collection of tracks. It sounds like a good fit for Independent or Pirate stations, but I already have better tracks picked out for those, and not enough travel music.

Small tip: Play Hell Divers 2 with this cranked up. Dont worry about your teammates cries for help. It doesnt matter.

Also I weighly remember that there existed something, I don't know where or what, but it was project about how would fauna look like if it evolved from bugs after our extinction? Just like...
