Who is Satan if perhaps not the “stumbling block” whom Jesus calls Petrus?

One thing I don’t think people understand is that the reason he played with Jesus and Satan here is because the devil is ego and doubt, and while Jesus was the son of God, he was also a man and these things he also had to struggle with. Phenomenal acting.

The Anglican Church, in officially approving same sex marriages and the ordaining of female clergy has hit rock bottom in its aim to be relevant to the world. The Christian Church should be relevant to God primarily and to its believers, not trends instituted to get bums on pews. Any Anglican disturbed by the way things have gone has two options - stay and live with the grievious faults or do as Luther did regarding the Catholic Church of his day and get out of it.

I was nominally an Anglican (in Australia) but the only strong Anglican belief my mother ever expressed clearly enough for me to understand was that Catholics were constantly engaged in foul, treacherous conspiracies against the patriotic Protestant majority.

This is blasphemy, telling us a story that Satan resembles Jesus. Also, all of this added into it. None of this is in the Bible, where is it , where are these conversations in the Bible. Yes, there are conversations between Jesus and the devil, but not these ones, we shall not add or take, there is nothing that I know of that says the devil knows the future, and why would Jesus ever ask him What does the father look like?, for Jesus said, if you have seen me you have seen the father, also, Jesus has came from the father. This movie is very misleading just by seeing this One scene.
