I definitely deeply love this art form and, crazily enough, actually think I will be capable of continued improvement, just by way of sheer dedication and enjoyment. I'm voting for Kamala Harris because she is the best option we have right now and trump would start a world war in ways we (thankfully) can't even imagine. Kamala will be better for all people than the alternative, so I'm voting for her.

Hi! Thank you infinitely for this comment and for the way you've received this writing. Your perception of my work is both, in my view, accurate, but also highly encouraging and much needed. I spent a lot of time creating this poem, and way more time living the experience, as you can feel!! I'm really thankful that came through; a cloudy lens, in some strange way, is often the most perceptive. I also appreciate your enthusiasm for my future and about how I'll use and carry my experiences and skills further forward. I know that the wellspring within feels overly abundant (for which I'm thankful) and the world feels in dire need of these specific reflections. I want to express what I've learned and what I've felt, some way and somehow, in hopes that it will become useful to many others in their journey of survival, recovery, and deepening self exploration. Self honesty and self love, I think, are the first ignitions for a healthier world. I am also especially excited to widen my perspective, having centered inward to recover and survive for what felt like too long. I hope my response feels resonant and useful, in some way, too! Navigating digital spaces is challenging for me. Interestingly enough, I love how I show up in physical spaces. It's quite a frustrating yet intriguing contrast to being online and uncomfortable. But maybe that's alright! Lastly I appreciate your reception of the watercolor, too :) I haven't done that as much for each poem recent, but only because I felt like it was going somewhat unnoticed and it is weirdly a lot of ever, despite the simplicity. I was listening to the poem aloud while I painted, to better reflect the art. So yeah... Thank you. It's a weird road, being human. No matter how much effort and work I put into all various aspects and facets of my life and outputs, I can only hope that any of it makes the world a little bit better, more enjoyable, safer, or more peaceful. Even if only a little bit, or if through the camaraderie of pain. So... Thank you, blessings, and immense appreciation to you!
