Hey Heather. I found this video searching UA-cam for board game videos. I know I’m waaaaay late to the party but I have recently been brought (back) into board games by some friends of mine. All the games you mentioned are fine as an introduction to board games but there are so many games that vary so much. If you and a few friends are willing to put some time in (a lot of time for some of these) I would recommend the following games Gloomhaven Descent (2nd edition) Hero quest Sleeping gods The above are all dungeon crawling fantasy games that have a campaign played over multiple sessions. If you’re looking for a game that can be played start to finish in one session I would suggest… Spirit island (can be played with friends or solo) Small world Too many bones (amazing game, can be played solo too) Cloud Spire Betrayal at house on the hill (really fun but you need AT LEAST 3 people to play) Everdell Then there are party games that are fun with larger groups Exploding Kittens (and the many expansions) Trial by trolley (a really fun game all about choices and how you can persuade your friends to your side of a discussion) I could go on if you’re interested lol but this is a wall of text already. Glad to see not everyone is glued to their tv!!!

I don't think you need to be the best at something to be proud of it. If i hear you playing the piano i'm not thinking about if you are the best piano player in town, i'm just enjoying it. But I have no advices since i have the same complex. If i'm not the best at what i do i lose motivation quickly. Luckily i like trying different things so it keeps me busy.
