Cool video! Nice to see my hometown. We spent a month there last summer and did a road trip through Copan, Gracias, La Esperanza, Valle de Angeles, and Santa Lucia. La Esperanza had the best climate, nice and crisp in the mornings and a perfect 20-22 degrees during the day, and Santa Lucia was overall the most beautiful town we visited. Enjoy your time there!

What happened to the land that Casa Bertmar was on (it was next to Sunset House). It was by the big oil tanks. It was our favorite dive resort. I tried to pick out the boat slip but can hardly make it out. The name was changed to Coconut Harbour for a while. We also stayed at a resort called Spanish Cove way up North. Looks like there is nothing left there but the main boat slip. So sad to see 7 Mile Beach in this condition. I wonder if the Oro Verde wreck is still there. Hope the hurricane doesn't hurt the islands. Love the place!

Hi Evan. I've recently got a job offer in one of the resorts near to the Kimpton. Salary 70-72k USD, is that good for regular lifestyle? Eat out once or twice a week, WiFi, phone, rent a small place around 1.5-2k I heard. I'll be having my wife with me as dependant, she might look for a job once we get there. Since locally they accept only KYD, you think 70-72k US is acceptable or it'll be tight? Just hope I could save a little and bring back home. Transferring money overseas, is there a big fee on that? We are planning to have a baby, just worried if the hospital visits are gonna be expensive, I am covered by insurance by the company and she will have access to that, but not sure how many visits it'll take till the insurance gets maxed out. Appreciate any inputs you may have, thanks cheers.

I think you need to go to Costco, and on the rich can afford lottery tickets.

If you are looking to save some money on your groceries, and make them last longer I suggest doing this, 1) save $20 dont play the lottery, 2) save $10 dont buy organic fruit items, 2) save $10 dont buy organic eggs, 3) drink water instead of soft drinks save $15 (or buy in 2L format if you MUST have - save $10) 4) buy "block" format cheeses, save $10 (you cut it yourself and save a lot of money per gram of cheese) Optionally, consider buying a whole chicken, and learning how to cut it up with a knife; you can still have boneless skinless if you want, and throw out the skins, but at least you will end up with more meat for the cost, and then you have the option of taking the bones to cook with to make soups if you would like. So you could be saving $45 on groceries, and get more, or $65 by also cutting out the lotto.

seems pretty high.. 4 meats and some ham for 14 days doesn't seem like enough... i did a fake order online.. here's what i would get for $171.54 tax included i could get 2k of white rice $5.49, 2 large grade A eggs $3.88 each $7.75 total, 4x 500g of medium ground beef $6.49 each $25.96 total, 2 club packs of chicken wings $14 each $28.01 total, 2x24 cases of max zero pepsi $13.49 each $26.98 total, 700g marble cheese $9.99, 3x300g double packs of black forest ham $6 each, $18 total, 4 packs of french fries $2.99 each, $11.96 total, and 3 packs of 2 pork chops over 1lb per pack, $10.46 eac, $31.38 total, 2 loafs of bread $1.25 each... I could toss in the oranges for another $6.99... so missing the berries and drinks.. but double the meats or more.. 4x the soda.. i actually order about $400 once a month and get double this... i usually get a few packs of sausages.. maybe a turkey.. pogos.. chicken nuggets.. pizzas... lettuce cucumber.. mayo.. chips and chocolate bars.. 2 packs of pillers peperoni peperettes.. ice cream bars or cones... soups, peanut butter, crackers, toilet paper, ketchup, as needed.. plus every order i get $25 gift... and about $5 in points.. but it's a lot when people in china living off $13 a month... they must eat like one ramen noodle a day.. i think we could save a lot more on our food.. i actually fasted the other day because my belly was so full... i eat so much and burn so little my body just banks the fat.. i swear it can get fat from water.. felt really good after a day of fasting.. might do it once a week if i can.. from ontario btw
