Description
Wolf Central was originally created to be "the place" to find information on the Mission:Wolf Ambassador Wolf Program for central CT. That was in 2008.
Year after year, the program has grown. It has gotten so much larger, so much further reaching, so much anticipated by so many! So after much thought and research, we decided to become an official nonprofit organization. This allows us to be instrumental in bringing other wildlife conservation/education programs to Connecticut, to even further teach the public that our wildlife is important to all of us.
Be a voice for wolves. Be a voice for wildlife. All of our howls together CAN make a difference!

I call Technical Foul on Cameraman for Interference of Game.
Just glad thta the Fox survived the encounter.
Fox is dead
Poor Fox
Comforting to know that the PA Game Commission just released an undisclosed number of these viscous beasts. My chickens had enough to worry about without these killers.
Today's mission - harass the wildlife. Result - mission accomplished.
I think you’re a piece of shit for not stopping that!
Rare footage indeed. That fisher cat is like a honey badger. They are tough and fearless
No. The fox isnt ok.
I can’t believe the fox went after the Fisher when he had the chance to take off… definitely more ego than survival instinct…

You had no business interfering. The fox is hurt too bad to recover. Let nature take it's coarse.
That fixes life is on the hands of the cameraman ppl say don’t intervene but I would of because no difference then ppl fighting, or pets fighting….. sure one is preying on the other…. But could of gave him another life and been a hero…..
Good effort.. but with those lenses you’d best not quit your day job.. But, again, thanks..
I can't listen to the poor anaimal cry . Poor fox
why did this photographer interupt what the Fisher cat was doing ,, its part of nature ,the fisher has to eat also , i known it looked cruel but thats nature we should not get involved .
Poor Fox. bet he was very young. Normally a fox chase Fishers
Fox: “man I had him!!! Look at him run from me!!”
They rip throats
Was he trying to converse with a wild animal that just got into a fight?😅
Thank you for recording and posting this rare siting.
Wow! that was a serious knock down drag out fight for life.
The fox must of been protecting its den to keep going after it like that. What a brave fox!
The guy filming was a dip chit for interfering.
Thx forest Dad
The video starts at 0:44
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Now these r killing turkeys as well. We only get a week of fall turkey. The fisher r going up the trees and killing them. There also eating songbirds, eggs, chickens ducks Guinea fowl, and trying to eat deer besides porkey pines. Its another poor choice the pa game commission has reintroduced. There also wanting to bring back the martin. Thanks Harrisburg game commission for another mess up. The next think there will b no more hunting anyway because there will b no game. Cwd also for the deer herd. The ring necks r on a reservation and u have to pay a fee to hunt them. The 1970s ringnecks were on all farms now the suburban era has took over and theres a lot les natural habitat for the game to live among housing development. Soon turkeys hopefully wont end up like the pheasents.
Strange another fox or coyote didn't come in from its distress screams.
2 things are ridiculously bad here.......1) By far the most poorly videoed images I've EVER seen, & 2) Interrupting the course of nature where you DID NOT belong!
they have a power crushing bite it was biting its neck and skull dont know if the fox survived after that
I don't know about any of you but I can't sit there, on the sidelines, and watch one animal try to "RIP APART or KILL" another animal right there in front of my presence. I would be looking for the closest boulder, tree branch, or screaming at the top of my lungs to STOP the chaos. I know that shit happens in the wild everyday, but I don't get my rocks off observing it when it goes down. You probably would be the same type of individual that would observe an elderly person getting mugged out on the street, as well, no doubt......so much for compassion!
That sucks
I think the fox is badly wounded, can't believe the Fisher let him go? Scary, ferocious beasts, those Fishers are.
That fox was walking dead. Never survived those injuries. Life ending....
That Fox was hurt very badly, and maybe died after. He could not even keep his balance toward the end, walking on those logs. Those Fishers are vicious fighters. Looks like he got bit very badly under the right ear. If there was no human to scare off the Fisher, that fox would have been dead.
Jerkoff letting that happen
Hey hypocrite cameraman with no empathy taking you time and looking for a video to get attention. Nice job helping the fox. As if you really cared.
Whenever making videos outdoors, turn off auto-focus and just set the manual focus to infinity. Everything over 6 or 7 feet away will be in focus(large depth of field in daylight) and the camera will not be trying to focus on branches 3 ft. in front.
I couldn't help but feel empathy for the Fox. The Fisher is a potent predator as are all of the weasel family. It seemed that the presence of the photographer interrupted the attack of the Fisher on the Fox. My guess is that distraction probably saved the Fox. MH
The fox was clearly injured here the Fisher probably went back after it when the camera man had moved on and Finnished it off for dinner unbelievable the weasel family are pure killing machines in what they are capable of doing I keep ferrets and polcats plus 5 cats and its the ferrets what terrorise the cats going after them and they no what cats to single out and go after very crafty they are
I know that fox just got his ass handed to him, but he looks neurologic, and the fact that he went back at the fisher before finally going on his way worries me that there's more going on here then just a nasty attack from a ruthless preditor
Iys probably been badly bitten on the neck. Unlikely to survive
@@rogerparker9228 yes, that's exactly what they do their prey. They bite the back of the neck and sever the spinal chord. That fox was mortally wounded. The fisher probably came back later and finished it off.
Well the fastest way to get attacked is for the fox to turn its back while the predator is still close enough to jump on the fox back again. The fox having teeth as well could easily bite the fisher which is why the fisher ran once the human startled it. It is possible the fisher tracked the fox later but for the moment it wasn't trying to fight.
amorbid - What do you mean "ruthless attack by a predator"? You do know that the fox is also a predator, right?! What about the poor chickens this fox may come across?? Do you think that fox's are vegans? Give your head a shake!
@@bowl3864- Speak in terms that people can actually understand you or just shut the FK up already...a$$clown...
Helo😊
The fisher must be going after a baby fox?
The fox escaped, you can see him walking without any sign of injury. The fox definitely overpowered the fisher.
Helo
Fishers are fierce creatures. found one dead half eaten one time guessing cougar predation based on the bite
Stupid…. “Are you ok little fella” what a moron.
Learn to observe nature and resist the temptation to interfere.
Awwwe poor little foxy woxy lol gimme a break the stupid fox went after it when the fisher left it got up and ran at it so obviously the fisher is going to fuck it up tf you thought this was my little pony fuck outta here
