He usually play defensive midfield and he looks really comfortable slotting into the lb spot so he can be used there when it’s suitable. I can see him going being used in both positions. Say if they get Zubimendi and Califiori’s injured, he can play at lb. When Zubimendi is out, he can go in the 6.

And he does play half the time in midfield, but also is super talented at defending, why would you want to waste that talent putting him permanently in a midfield position?
