I have the 1242sxv and even when I set my minimum depth to a high number it will try to route me over a ft of water in the bay...

Great info…greatly appreciated. Question, once the auto guidance determines route; how do you follow the route? Is there a steering screen or navigation screen like on Simrad Chart-plotter the aid in following the route.

If I selected save a track, then turn the unit off ,say to dock up for lunch, once I turn the unit back on do I have to tell it to save tracks again or will it continue to save until I tell it to stop saving ?

Hey there. I just got another 1243xsv to pair with a 943. Is it possible to share custom combo views or do you have to make custom views for each unit?

After watching this I am so happy that I have Raymarine on my main boat. I have GARMIN on a lake pontoon and it is terrible. Raymarine is much easier to configure and the flow of their screens is so much simpler. I am a power user so it’s not like I’m a newbie.

21:32 new route would be a violation of the no-go zone right? Is there a way to barcode navionics with these restrictions?

If your 741xs doesn't start up, check your power fuse holder for corrosion. The tin on the fuse connector corrodes and causes a loss of continuity. Clean it off and try start up again. It basically causes low voltage drop out.
