Why the different arm swings?
I prefer the arms swinging upwards as this helps to generate max force/+ coordination for max effort jumps However, I have known people to find that “unnatural/awkward” - so if they can’t there’s another option for arm swinging.
the positioning in line between the ball and the goals makes sense but would forward flankers also position themselves here or go either side of the centre half forward
@@bighuff1 great question! Always situational. Best way to think about your forward 6, is that they are all one big pulley system, that work off each other. Lead up, replace, rotate. Obviously small positional forwards having an emphasis on working back to front centre, and keys being more inline with the ball for the quick kick out the air. Working on unilateral leg stiffness, just a variation I like to challenge athletes with. Also smashes the glute med as it’s used as a stabiliser.

@@iangood9773 power clean 110kg, clean 115kg, but I’d like to hope I could push them a little higher now. Still refining my technique and building confidence dropping under the bar with heavy weight! Yourself?
@@thetoptierfootballer I can do 102 kg but same here still getting better and learning my technique. That was as of last year as well, I haven't maxed out since then and I have only gotten better

Each to their own. This is apart of a french contrast primer, acting as an overspeed exercise. I would argue the reward and transfer to game day performance is definitely worth it.

Used as an overspeed exercise to increase vertical projection. Great way to also reduce load, and potentiate your nervous system.
