Great video. Thanks for sharing. I had a box built for me with a similar structure including a marine ply layer. I had some minor leaks initially which I addressed pretty quickly. However, getting the moisture out of the plywood in the sandwich was close to impossible and it eventually (5 years) started to delaminate. Many of the commercial construction companies (Unicat etc) put no wood in their sandwich.

great guys.....but I would only go to Mongolia in Spring and Autumn, not in winter. Was there in 1983, in Summer....great country.

I had to heat the oil box of my 7.3 powerstroke once with a propane turkey fryer. Worked quite well. My conditions were slightly less dire as I took shelter in the lobby of the hotel.

I got shut down at Donner Pass in California/Nevada border one winter because the roads were closed. I made the rookie mistake of turning the truck off to save fuel, but since the temperatures were below freezing the diesel fuel gelled over and I was unable to start my truck again. I had to call a service truck out to warm my fuel before I could get the truck started again.
