Evening Farm Chores with my Husband!
When you mentioned the baby bunny that couldn't see or hear, why did I suddenly think of The Who? Perhaps 'Tommy' would be a good name...
Lol, just wait till you see our newest friend next video! 😁✌️
Good morning Cornfed Lady. So blessed to have new life on the homestead.
Good morning, and yes they're so welcome. Also, spoiler alert...we just bought a new kind of friend for our homestead yesterday!!! (I'll show him in the next video) 😁✌️
Thank you very informative 😊
Wow, beautiful camera clarity! Thanks for the hi def. You got some magnificent, heathy and CALM roosters. Got a chuckle looking at your cattle panel…I’m wondering, “how does she keep her chickens behind those?” (My hens walk right thru to go visit the neighbors!). Ah, I see your secret. 👍🏻 I have hens and rabbits - just being around them is SUCH good emotional therapy for me. Hen sounds are quietly amazing and soothing. One rabbit and 8 hens? Girl - that’s exactly my set-up. I have a hen house (coop) with a 24’ enclosed run. Meat rabbit cages in the enclosed run. Hens are free-range during the day. One escaped meat rabbit lives and forages with the hens. Like your hens, my girls were jumpy when the rabbit hopped around them. Fine with a 50# dog, but skittish with a 10# bunny🤣. Hens are now comfy. Pigs….WAY too intelligent for me to raise. I find pork to be tasty, and this set-up (assume raising for slaughter) would be heartbreaking for me. No problem with meat rabbits tho. Clean protein. This was a lovely video to share with people - thank you. Pallet A-frame for shelter 👍🏻
Thank you so much! ✌️
I think Tom Tom woke up on the wrong side of his perch. 😅
Yep! 😆
Good morning Cornfed Lady! I love your videos.
Good morning, and thanks! ✌️
Good morning Cornfed Lady!
Good morning!
Many thanks for the shout out! Yes, that looks like a '72 C10, though I haven't really gotten to cars that new- I'm still working on pre WWI. Love your channel, Cornfed lady!
You bet!✌️
Do you have a clip for changing transmission fluid?
Not yet, sorry
@@CornfedLady1 just need to know where the drain plug is. Thanks for your quick response.
It doesn't say in the manual...might have to remove the pan to drain it.
@@CornfedLady1 no not in manual, I will check out more tomorrow. Thanks
You know, you've been doing this a long time. Some three years or more. I've been Youtubing for that long as well, and I'm just now getting into the militaria side of early automotive history. Well, you've grown so much in experience and your homestead has also matured in it's productivity that perhaps it's time for you to consider a new 'series' for this channel. Can you feed your family from just what you produce on your homestead? And if so, how long? I mean, only what you produce. My friend, that would be great tribute for everyone to see about what it really means to live self sustainably. I think you've done the work and earned the right to show it at that level.
Thanks so much! We have cut our grocery shopping from once a week in the city down to once a month now. We also haven't had to buy meat or vegetables for the past few years. Our fruit is currently limited to berries, while we wait on our orchard to mature. However, we aren't yet interested in producing dairy nor wheat...they take a lot more work and space than we can currently offer. However, I do love the idea of showing more of our food system here on our homestead! ✌️
@@CornfedLady1 That is the great thing about what you do. There are folks in your area (I say this 'cause I live in the same part of the country you do where there's all kinds of farms within 30 miles) and you can trade with them- Obviously on a small scale and you're really just now getting that kind of experience and confidence (Yeah, I'm there in my own channel) But with a bit of stretch I think you could do it. Okay, a lot of stretch and marital discussion but it's not beyond possibility.
To wit- You've mentioned and shown work with neighbors on the channel. Expand this. Show the homestead community.
Those Hutch's are junk something big can break In to them and rabbit be kill or have part tree fall on it they really not safe butchs
Thanks for your concern! ✌️
Looks like beebs is a English spot bunny I have 3 English spots 1: is the mother named Oreo she is called is that because she is black and white 2: oreos baby Rosie she’s a sweet little girl but sometimes she can be naughty 3: oreos 2TH baby named fluff because she is very fluffy and she is energetic we don’t know where where is the father but that’s about it! Btw I love your bunnys❤️🐇😍
Beebs is actually a registered broken blue New Zealand...she's always very sweet, except when she's pregnant 🤰...then she can be a bit grouchy 🤷♀️
Good morning Cornfed Lady! Love Mr. Nibbles new home.

Going to break a toe doing that in sandals. Sorta like a knife, nobody expects to cut themselves with a knife but everyone has cut themselves.
Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Cornfed ! Cool log splitter.

You're going upscale now!
Lol, just trying to make it easier to sustain this chosen lifestyle as we age.
Beautiful video! I hope you don’t mind that I remixed it! Thank you!!!
Thanks, no problem! ✌️
Good morning Cornfed Lady.
Good morning to you too, Teresa ✌️
Good morning Cornfed Lady! Today is going to be super humid.
Yes, indeed... I'm offering ice to all our animals every couple of hours. Stay safe and cool out there! ✌️
i want turkeys as pets but i live on an apt i’ll be doing this when i have a house again
Sorry to hear about your loss of Mr McFeely.. Glad you didn't get any more damage from the storm than you did..I had Ef1 tornado in my neighborhood during that same time I got some damage from it but it was thankfully just tree and some structure damage but not as bad as neighbors in the next couple of blocks.. thankfully no plant damage ..guess it was a good thing I am late getting things planted..I feel blessed that not as much that could have gotten damaged didn't..and same with you..
Glad you're safe! There were tornadoes around here too, but we got lucky with just some strong wind bursts.
sr friendpy
Aww!I'm so sorry for losing Mr. McFeely. 😢
😢😢😢
Good morning. So sorry about your loss. Have you heard of bloat? Unfortunately it happens to bun buns a lot and can take them quickly. Good luck with the new boy. He’s so cute.
Thanks ✌️
A massive thank you for this great review! 🤩 Glad to see you enjoy trying the kit. We can't wait to see the seed growing. 🌱🌱 Keep it up!
A few of the seeds are already sprouting!
nice. every true stoner needs a growing starter kit
Lol
Nice that kit has everything you need for starting seeds..but would still have to have grow light when seedlings reach the lid in height, especially when starting the seeds late winter early spring .unless there is way to raise the lid with lights in it away from them as they grow
I plan on transplanting the sprouts outside. Since it's kale, the fall weather will be perfect! But yeah, if it was winter...you'd need more grow lights and bigger pots to transfer them to.
@@CornfedLady1 yea would be perfect for fall garden planting
The one i have is from Ferry Morse. It says use the blue for when the seeds are planted and then growing and when the plant puts on buds, switch to the red lights. I had a great time using mine.
Great, thanks for letting us know!
Good morning Cornfed Lady.
Good morning!
