Correction, the apple vision pro isn't light. Every reviewe I saw here on youtube stated, that it is quite heavy in comparisson to to Quest Headsets. Which is due to the heavier materials used for building it.

If you can afford the Vision Pro, what is adding an extra 500 for a quest 3 to go with it?

The Quest is targeting the everyday Joe that enjoys VR. While the price of Apples Vision Pro is definitely targeting Apple fan boys and aristocrats. $3500 for a premier piece of technology is not the way to sway the crowd to jump ship. 😂

They are not really comparable because Quest is made for gaming and virtual reality while the apple vision pro is to be like a mac or an iphone but its life-alike

2:27 I wish to fight your argument with my own! The quest 3 can in fact be for work such as calling from your facebook friends list to do meetings. While the apple vision pro makes an imitation of your face, the quest 3 allows access to so many apps and that with VRChats ability to make your own rooms you can make a business office with your crew. So really they can both be for work just different kinds

Your conclusion is right, these are two different things. Just cause they look similar doesn’t mean they fill the same purpose. I have lost faith in Quest because they are tied to Meta. Meta is a proven company that steals it’s clients data. I love VR but stopped using Quest when Meta bought them. Apple is more premium and I will buy Apple Vision over Quest.

What blows my mind, while at the same time being SO sadly predictable at this point, is that- no matter how many “groundbreaking, game changing, earth shattering..” tech comes out- THERES ALWAYS ZERO ADVANCES IN FUCKING BATTERY LIFE!!! *These fucking $3,500 goggles of the gods, crafted with wizard tech, using reversed engineered alloys from the Roswell crash site that’s coated in unicorn piss enamel!..* AND!- a battery life of.. 🥁🥁.. 2 hours max. TWO HOURS MAX?!? So these are good enough to last through SOME short movies, flights, etc without constant need of finding power source to plug in. Worrying about external power and a CABLE plugged in dangling on you will be a CONSTANT worry when using these? Sooooooooo FUCKING PATHETIC! Sooooooooo FUCKING PREDICTABLE! Will ONE of you POS tech companies stop completely neglecting one of the MOST important tech aspects in long overdue need of some fucking advancement- the fucking POS embarrassing BATTERY LIFE that EVERY DAMN ONE of your pos gadgets use

Well, so far their advertising, the Apple Vision Pro as a mixed reality headset that they’re not going to do VR so you’re not gonna be able to really immerse yourself in VR world with that headset remember 100% advertised is mixed reality not VR but nobody’s going to buy a $3500 headset over a $600 one only morons would if you got that much money to piss away yeah stupid people do😂😂😂😂

Did you apply lots of compression too? because it sounds aggressively "loud" compared to every other video tab I had open. Please give more love to your audio setup. -- Respectable news content otherwise!

I, for one, look forward to this kind of tech getting smaller, sleeker, and more portable from here on in. Imagine in 50 years or less, you'll be able to have the exact same functionality but with something as small and lightweight as a pair of sunglasses.

I still hate that people think that the tech that apple made is the first of its kind and will change the future when in reality apple just takes what already exists downgrades it and prices it 3000$ above what it should be then all those people who are very stupid think its premium because its expensive when in reality they just make it expensive because they want more money not because its premium or better at doing what a vr/ar headset should be able to do.

The triple lenses between the screens and our eyes will reduce the problems about having them close to our eyes. It’ll be like having those more far away like when you see through a telescope.
