Got my tickets to see Deadpool and Wolverine tonight with some buds!

We finished the acolyte a couple days ago and I definitely have thoughts. I get the hate and I get the love at the same time. I'm probably right smack in the middle, I did enjoy seeing the fight choreography and whatnot but the character depictions are very different compared to what we've seen in the past with Jedi and sith. I feel like that difference is what's bringing the most hate. And there's a couple scenes that just revealed big things and then fell flat. It wasn't awful but I feel like a few tweaks could have been done to make it really good

Totally agree with Stef on The Ultimates #2. Too rushed. I was totally lost going from the first issue to this one because of that. It feels like we skipped an issue

My favorite part of the latest Black panther book is that when they're fighting at the end dude just gets up and slowly walks away and that's the end of the fight.

And where's our perspective of the maker. He's supposed to be locked away in that dome for like a thousand years due to some kind of time dilation. So are they eventually going to bring all these ultimate books together in some impossible convoluted way and in the makers going to jump out of this circle and they're just going to fight it out? I agree Black panther is treading water between artists, X-Men is barely enjoyable for me at this point, the ultimates felt really rushed, and Spider-Man is good but still unconnected.
