You can research this but during menopause when your body stops producing estrogen. All kinds of things can happen including your cholesterol raising when you’ve done nothing different. Same thing happened to me. Just started taking estrogen. 6 weeks in and my hot flashes are gone. Sleeping better. My urgency to go to the bathroom is getting better also. That’s what helped me!! Good luck.

Not an expert - & this is what I have heard on compounds - apparently the FDA has formally taken Tirz of the shortage list, and some telehealth companies have removed the compound version availability from their website because pharmacies have a specific time limit on when they have to stop creating them. But there is a lot of optimism that they will still be available combined with something else your doctor might have more accurate insight. It really sucks from an affordability perspective for many people.

Staying hydrated and eating smalls meals instead of a standard full meal. Also pesto and GasX. I swear when I have the burps it’s like a swallowed a bucket of helium. Almost comical.

Welcome back!! Yes, most likely water weight and also the flying. I put on weight and retain water just from flying from the East Coast to the West Coast for five hours!! When I came back from Portugal, it took several days for me to share it, and I actually did lose weight from all the walking!

It's always shocking to see what stupid things Americans say. Just for your information, America is not the NAbel of the world. The Capitol and the White House stole all their architecture from the Italians. Pasta only has egg in some regions. Not usually. There is compulsory insurance and of course in an emergency like a stroke or heart attack you are treated immediately in hospital. America has one of the worst health systems in the world in terms of health insurance. In contrast, the system in Italy and other European countries is gold. In America, only rich people have very good care; in Italy, everyone does. It's so embarrassing that people from the US really think they are the centre of the world. But they have a totally dilapidated infrastructure. Worse than some countries in Africa.

Broke my plateau too today….now 6.4# from goal…just remember folks…..make your minds up before starting…l.you have to realize and get ready to change(for the rest of time on earth) your life for good. These drugs are a suppressant, not a magic pill that will keep it off unless you change way you look at food, quit using it as an anti-depressant, and “eat to live, not live to eat.”
