Hello this is not to be rude I’m just telling u if u want ur crab to be happy heathly and live long first they are very social they need at least on other friend second they need A FRIEND but they NEED to be in a 10-20 gallon tank that has 6 -10 inches of substrate and they need a variety of food they don’t do good with pellets. Don’t take them out of their tank at all costs unless of an emergency think of them has a fish give them tons of climbing items and hiding spot. Make sure they have a pool to fully submerge in and there need to be 2 one with saltwater the other with freshwater. They need a lot of calcium to eat make sure they have a heat mat and a lid for the tank. U can put a bubbler in the water to keep it clean or clean it constantly. Refresh their food every 2 days. Add it fruits to their diet once a week make sure they tank is glass and again 10-20 gallons. GIVE THEM TONS OF OPTIONS OF NATURAL SHELLS!! and again tons of climbing! Pls take care of ur crab with respect don’t play with it they are prey animals and don’t like to be handled only do it if there is an emergency. Pls take care of them with proper care and get at least on more. They can live up to 40 years if u give them all this. They will not live LONG AT ALL IN THAT TANK. now still do research on google and search good foods and stuff. Pls take care of them they hate small spaces like that.
