I wish all the episodes sounded this good. Sadly, most of them have atrocious audio, and believe it or not, as bad as some of the audio on some of the episodes on this channel are, you should have heard how much worse they were in their original state!

I have a lot of early episodes with the squeaking door (The first years of shows) However, I got a lot of complaints about the Door from people who binge the show, so I took it out. Hope you still enjoy these later episodes without the Door. :)

This is one of the ones I initially skipped, because the original audio in all of the recordings I could find was so dreadful!! But I found one version that wasn't as bad, so I did the best I could with it. So believe it or not, what you're hearing is miles better than what I started with!! I just listened to a bit of it---IMO, It's not THAT bad----but it's not that good either. Here's the thing: I am trying to get all the episodes on this channel, and some of them are really in bad shape, and even with all the tricks/noise reduction increasing volume and fiddling with the eq, there is only so much I can do to make them better. So, if bad audio bothers you, I suggest you skip any episode on this channel with the warning "AUIDIO IS BAD" or "AUDIO IS NOT VERY GOOD" on it. That's why I put those warnings up, so people who like better audio can have the option of skipping the episodes that aren't as good. :)

@@brianmccarthy616 no worries. it was good once i turned my audio to half volume. its going to be tricky for others and they will have to figure out what works best for them. appreciate the work.

@@wherami I noticed that too. Sometimes to make these listenable I have to cut all the hi end and low end (Which diminishes the volume a lot) and then stack 3 -4 versions of the audio to build it up to a good volume. Other times, I have to turn the bass almost all the way off on all the tracks(Or the high end) and it STILL sounds boomy, or a little hissy. So then I have to turn the volume down on the main track til there is the least amount of distortion and stack those tracks til the volume is loud enough. The main thing is to get the dialogue audible, clear enough to understand. There are many tricks I use to make the dialogue audible--- dropping the eq, putting on noise reduction(which warps the sound a bit but makes it more clear/less hiss---MANY of these shows have a TON of hiss LOL )- Sometimes the music suffers, but I think if the dialogue is understandable, people listen past the music sounding a little muffled or weird. Anyways, glad you enjoy the shows, keep on listening. :)
