It is really a shame "Burlesque" wasn't a better film. I was so looking forward to it when I first heard about it in 2008. I have to say I wasn't impressed with it and I am a huge CHER fan. I am sure X-Tina regrets doing it as once the film performed lack luster at the box office her return to music hasn't been easy. She has had a difficult time. Prior to "Burlesque" her music career was steller. The time devoted to the film and away from music saw Lady Ga, Ga break through music. X-Tina was being compared to Lady Ga, Ga when X-Tina released her first CD after "Burlesque "Bionic". Lady Ga, Ga stole her lime light and the media created an imaginary feud between the power house singers.
