Hi queens and queens at heart!
A little about me, I have been watching beauty pageants since I was little.
I have also been listing down my favorites and hot picks but I only kept them to myself.
My ideas, insights, and favorites will always be different from that of yours, and it's okay. That's what makes us unique. Sometimes it's better to agree to disagree but still remain respectful.
I may not know ALL beauty queens out there especially the older ones, but I am here to give my honest thoughts and QUEENsights (wink) about the pageants I love watching and following.

A Look Back: Major Pageants Topped 2024 Ranks
And there they are, the major beauty pageant queens for 2024.
For the information of everyone, I am not solely criticizing these organizations and I will surely watch their next editions. I am only stating the facts, my thoughts and insights, and what I think should be improved on when they hold their pageants next year. If I am part of these organizations, I would definitely listen to the pulse of the audience and what they really want to see or see improved on our next edition.

There are only 4 major pageant, these are the following : miss universe, miss world, miss earth and miss international...these are the major pageant....that is why miss supranational, and miss grand international is not included in the major pageant.
Hello. I fully understand that. What I meant by "major" here are the biggest and most popular pageants this year. Also, a general observation, things are changing nowadays, minor ones are rising to the top and sadly the original major ones are losing their spark. Especially with Miss Universe, what are your thoughts about it? Mismanagement maybe? Misuse of power and authority? Let me know, let's have a chat ;)

This year was my first time watching mgi and i think it was amazing in every aspect Mu was a big disappointment this year although the queen crowned was amazing its just that mu has lost its charm and standard as it used to be

MISS EARTH is the poorest and the Most No budget of all, it should be replaced by Miss Grand and Miss Supra, because these pageants are very fabulous and very Nice productions.
Sadly, they really need to step it up a notch. Their advocacy and socio-environmental works are unmatched and unquestionable. But being a major pageant, they may need to rethink think things. Still have high hopes for them 💚. Thanks for watching, love ❤️

Please get first the Miss Universe crown and Miss World crown before you say that your country is a pageant power house!!!! All the crowns you have now are earned thru collaboration with the pageant director adding controversies, They did not won fairly and squarely. Most of their crowns are earned with under the table. arrangement, in short cooking show like what happened in Vietnam. it is a shame to brag a country being a pageant powerhouse without Miss Universe and Miss World crown.

Undoubtedly MGI is the bast pageant of the year every thing was just perfect from the production to the winner and it is enjoyable pageant even after competition
Agreed! Production was excellent. Maybe that's also the reason why pageant queens want to experience the pageant itself - because it's giving the Trump era "battle scene" where it's a bloodbath between the best of the best queens. Thanks for watching, love ❤️
No MGI is a sleazy pageant. This was the first year without Paula Shugart and it showed for MU. Also the production team in Mexico sucked. But I forgive them because of who they crowned. I love our new MU.

Denmark was predetermined, i believe. it's very obvious that there were lots of other deserving girls in terms of performance (pasarela and comm skills) NIGERIA should have won

You may not like MGI, but calling it sleazy is excessive. Consider looking up the definition of "sleazy." If you want to know what sleazy looks like then look at Raul with his new Queen. Now that's what you call the sleazy old man vibes 😂

I agree. MGI was the best this year and ME was the worst because of its production. It's embarrassing at this point. As much as ME's advocacy is important, its production is still necessary to be given importance since it is a major pageant, and pageant is still glitz and glam. Also, the reason why questions were raised on MU's continental queens is that it does not make sense to base continental queens from preliminary scores. Preliminary scores are just preliminary (it's in the name) and it does not have a direct connection to the girls' final performance. Why not just give the sash to the highest placing woman in the region? MW does that, and in MS' case, they crown the highest placing non-top 5 finisher. Both of these pageants are clear in their rules, and it makes sense as it is justified. With MU though, the question is just 'Why?'. They could literally take Asia, Americas, and Africa from the Top 5, and then Europe from the Top 12.

Puteri used to send Indonesian delegates to Miss Universe previously. However, a new franchise, Miss Universe Indonesia, now sends their candidates to the said competition. So far, they only have 2 editions, and their reigning queen, Clara, is currently competing for the competition in Mexico. Thanks for watching, love! ❤️
