I like the blade. More than how the blade is centered when closed I am very interested in how it lines up when open. I have seen a fair few that center fine when shut but make for a very kinky knife when it's opened. This warp affects the handling of the knife, sometimes drastically, whereas unless there is actual edge rap the centering is purely an aesthetic consideration.

Is it just the finish on these (not just these) knives that make the blade look like it’s particles stuck together or is the steel just like that? Looks like metal particle board. 😂

Only thing I don't like about this is that particular stonewash. Really don't like that kind of stonewash for some reason. Cool blade otherwise though.

This is the first video of yours I've seen and man, I'm going to subscribe, unsubscribe, and then subscribe again because I'm just that impressed - seriously awesome work. I haven't worked on any blades for over a decade and I thought I'd get back into it. Midway has the code 4 in sv35n for $45 bucks right now and that's a deal too good to pass up. Can you recommend anything whether it's process, hand tools you use, or anything that comes to mind for tips? I have a dremel, drill press, angle and belt/disc grinders, and some other various power tools. I'm a fan of cold steel knives as I've never had a bad product from them, and I know they have a solid following. Also on midway is an Espada XL for $140 in G10. I'm tempted to get it but I'm going to temper (ha, pun) my buying impulses and get back into it slowly. Plus I have some other knives on hand I can work on in the meantime. I'm stoked to see your other videos and this set the bar high, so no pressure!

That thing looks like cheap garbage. I wouldn't spend more than $30 on that. Even the inserts in the handles are cut very sloppy and look like trash. Look at the gaps!

I like Darriel Caston's work. Sort of keen on the SpaceX knife, with the very Case Sodbuster-esque blade profile.

Not one of my favorite designs so I'm just not into that D-Rocket.

Not particularly a fan of the scales or pocket clip. That said, It does have potential. And the price has been dramatically reduced, which might make it a good deal. It will be interesting to see what you come up with .

I have a hard time saying no to mini cleavers. They excel at opening clamshell packages and draw cuts on a bench top. Hope you texture those scales! 👍
