I bought the Blue and Silver Chibson, Ace model. I hated the neck and heel. The neck was too wide and thick. I gave it away. In 1998 I bought Epiphone Korean model. Excellent instrument, sleek neck, easy guitar to play. Sounds excellent.
I have the blue sparkle Chibson. For what I paid, it's not a bad guitar; though I would like to change the bridge pickup to something stronger, like a DiMarzio DP-100.
The chibson headstock body and visa/versa? Did ya see it?😂😂
LIVE as before mentioned a different a jaguar, jzzmstr,or J.Homme copy they'll make ya dmn' near anything Please?

Love vids R.Man
No more LP's! Too many vids on chibsons,Chels cheats pRs? I gotta beautiful wine Jake E.Lee copy❤ that played great outta the box
I am working on a video for a Firebird. It's also a Chibson; but I love this thing ~ It's my favorite guitar.
2/ of the video before the box ever opens. And nothing to see beforehand. Save yourself and skip ahead

The yellowed binding is to make it look aged. It's not a copy, it's a counterfeit. The knobs are placed wrong. (The volumes are closer to each other than the tones.) It's missing a pickup, and a "Chigsby". I got one, the same time as you, from eBay. It has the middle pickup, & "Chigsby". Mine has all white binding. 5 days from order to delivery. The listing said, "unbranded", but it was. (Thats why i didnt return it, because of the logo. It would have taken months for a replacement.) I added a roller nut, and bridge. D'Addario auto trim machine heads. FreeWay 6-way switch. 4 bourns push/pulls: 3 volume, 1 tone. All wired 50s style. The push/pulls do; a phase switch for neck, series/parallel neck & bridge, and a coil split, for the bridge. (I keep changing those. I'm never satisfied.) Next I'll refunish the headstock, to remove the Gibson logo. I'm putting my own logo on it. (Never attempted it before, or I'd have already done it.) I suggest, if you really want to jump in, and not just get your feet wet, do the Jimmy Page #2 mod. It's very advanced, but if you want a workhorse, nothing else comes close. You'll need 4 push/pulls, or push/push (whichever you prefer) and a 6-way switch. Schematics are all over the Internet. Cheers! 😉
That's a great response. Very interesting ~ Thanks for watching!
I'm #759 love my chibsons and ain't nobody's biz' if I do
I feel the same way. Thanks for watching!
Man I just gotta say the combination of your voice pitch goofiness, editing, and acting had me absolutely cracking up!!! This was all that I needed to just about decide me to go ahead and hit the purchase button on this case. Great work man!
Hey, thanks for watching and for your very kind words!
This is great! there are 4 of these albums, and IMO #2 is the very best
Thanks for watching! I'm currently working on putting together a video for that album.
I wonder, when exactly the house was demolished in 1998. I was there several times after the filming of the 1998 remake and they had the original still in it's place, and the re-make house shell was on display (for a short while) to the left of it.
That's an interesting question and I'd love to know the answer.
You are very boring.
Nice 🤘

IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT THE BODY IS MADE OF, ITS A ELECTRIC GUITAR NOT AN ACOUSTIC, ITS ALL ABOUT THE PICKUPS WHEN IT COMES TO ELECTRIC GUITARS

Yes!
Plug her in and test drive it! See how it plays and sounds. For 300 bucks, you can't beat it.
I love this guitar ~ It plays REALLY well!
So a year ago I bought one of these. I couldn't believe the headstock actually has a Gibson logo😮 on it. That being said my only complaint is the frets. Very sharp on both sides of fretboard. Lots of filing but they are playable now. New machine heads just because. Other than replacing the mirror access covers and tress rod cover it's really a very nice fit and finish. My only question is why go to all that work to put out a nice looking axe only to cheat on the frets? I've spent 2 hundred dollars on worse stuff than this. 🎸😊
You ask a good question. Perhaps they know some people like to buy these guitars because they're a good fit for doing mods (which would allow for them do slack off on doing expert work?); but once all mods are done, you have a pretty good guitar and some experience learning about how electric guitars are put together - if you do the mods yourself.
It still frightens me for her to walk up to that house, I mean the closer she gets the more frightening it becomes. You want to say, lady…don’t go in that house😯❤
Yes! That's a great shot from the movie - very foreboding.
wow amazing.. lol
looks wonderfull
It is! People on UA-cam buy these guitars and they look really good on a computer screen; but then if you actually buy the guitar and see it up close it's a knockout.
@@TheRootsMan i have a sax blue squaire fender guitar, one acoustic and one classic guitar. and i love them.

This is my One Person Show about Charles Manson called, "Piggie, Piggie, Dumb, Dumb, Dumb" that was performed in the Celebration Theatre at Wright State University on March 11 & 12, 1986. Instead of merely presenting the unedited video exactly as it originally appears, this video is a special, 2024 Director's Cut edition. Please allow me to elaborate: The standing-room-only performances were presented with a strong influence from noted Russian director Bertolt Brecht (who felt that theatre is a remarkable medium through which society could be improved. For example, he would direct shows with the intent of reminding the audience that they were watching a show); and so accordingly, these unique documentary-type performances utilized two old school slide projectors which were continually changing images throughout the entire show. In the fashion of Brecht, this would constantly remind the audience that they were watching a LIVE theatrical performance. In the original video tapes, you see long gaps of "dead" space wherein the screen is black, usually during voiceovers or when the camera was jostling between the two screens as the images were ever-changing. The presence of these gaps in "dead" space are what prompted the editing of a new, 2024 Director's Cut, which, to the best of my ability, helped to correct this problem in the original performance tapes. Almost every single slide image from the original performances has been included here, along with new images, new music, new [vintage] video, new sound effects (from my band, IRON CITY, circa 1985) and new computer graphics by my good friend, artist and actor Phillip Thies. Lastly, I would comment on two things: [1] This show was presented in 1986 before we had the internet through which today there is a great deal of information about Charles Manson, his vocal style, his overall demeanor, etc . . . information that simply wasn't available to the masses at the time of this show. When I wrote, "Piggie, Piggie, Dumb, Dumb, Dumb", I had a few books, a couple of movies on VHS and one magazine interview with Manson . . . At that time, there was very, very little video of Manson, himself, that I could watch and absorb. If I'd had a better impression of what Manson was really like, I'd have played the role much differently; and [2] when editing this show for the 2024 release, my personal inexperience as an actor has been realized as blatantly clear. Again, if I'd had more information about Manson's anger, hostility, weird gibberish, strange dancing, overall resentment towards society and, for example , the flat-out violent threats that he became known for, I would have played the role very differently. Many of you who are friends of mine here on FaceBook were involved in "The Manson Family Be-In", which was a very special photo/video shoot held at the Media Arts Center at Wright State University that was designed to capture the look and feel of Family life at the Spahn Movie Ranch. Special thanks goes out to all those people who were there, everyone who did the voice-overs and all the girls who did embroidery on Charlie's vest. The purpose of the show is to pose the question of whether or not Charles Manson and his Family were products of society. Are they? Put your headphones on and play at maximum volume.
i know how you feel i sold 3 of my guitars.
I feel ya, Bro.
Yes Ace used DiMarzio Super Distortion pickups
Thanks for letting me know!
I’d have had to have been drunk to buy that garbage
Part of becoming sober from alcohol is to admit drunken mistakes of the past. I did that in this video but never thought I'd be openly mocked for admitting the truth of my history. I just can't understand why you would do that to me.

@@Randomnessaralus Thanks for watching and for your comment. Congrats, also, to you for your sobriety. It's a completely different life when your focus isn't distracted by the next buzz.
🤣😂🧐
Congrats on being sober. Re the electronics mods, to make the sound go out with the switch means you have to send the signal to ground, not an open circuit. Otherwise it will buzz loudly. I learned this when I added a button to my strat so I could do some Buckethead riffs.
Thanks for the congrats and also for the information!
My only gripe with this one from what I can see on my phone screen, is that there doesn’t even seem to be any plain grain in the wood to speak of and certainly no flame or quilt. I’m not expecting any insane tops but I’d hope for one a touch less bland for such an “extra” guitar
I agree with you. The wood grain is there, but not as prominent as on other guitars I've seen.
You may want to invest in an external mic. Took you over 10 minutes to actually open it. That's too long bud.
What website can i order this guitar, and how much did you pay?
I bought this from Temu.com and paid $254.59 ~
Can u demo the pickups
Thanks for asking. I might be able to make an audio recording . . . I don't have any real "studio" here at my house - (no real setup wherein I could just turn on the camera and play) - but it might be possible to make an audio recording and post that with a video commentary.
I got a custom teal blue LP off temu, for $252 delivered,it came with perfect frets, not even one fret needed anything, ebony fretboard, not a very nice quilt top on this guitar, but it plays so good I can overlook the top ,and redo it someday ,a few little blems here and there, but after throwing some fake aliexpress Seymour Duncan’s a 59 & JB pickups and a epiphone large pot harness with quick connect switch, what a guitar it is now, I am ready for more of these Chibsons they absolutely rock, I quit drinking in 2016 had one beer since at my surprise birthday party, which I left shortly afterwards, can’t stand being around drunks anymore,I’m sure you know what I’m talking about, what I like the most about the chibsons is that they come the closest in feel, looks and playability to a real Gibson more than any of my other budget guitars, firefly, IYV, grote, and even my epi phone special in tv yellow,if you want to know what it’s like to own a Gibson test drive a chibson. 🤣👍🎸🆒
Thanks for such a great comment and I'm glad you're sober these days.
Why waste your money. Those are crap
I worked on the backlot about 25 years ago, when the front porch was being replaced, and I took one of the old railing pickets with me. I still have it!
That's a great story ~ I love it!

Thanks and God bless you!
The only thing crazy about it is that the scrawlings were done long before the white album was released like months. Now it tripped everyone out when it was discovered adding more to the enigma that is charlie. The question was given to tex watson about the door and he tried to explain it that they recieved or stole a bootleg demo of the white album before it was released. But i dont know seems awfully conveinient to me that all the unexplainable phenomena that surrounded the family was coincidental and made up. Was he telepathic? could he raise the dead? had he become partially enlightened.
Interesting commentary ~ Thanks for watching!
good work thanks for showing

Cool sound
There's a lovely little doc on the Jimi Hendrix channel that goes well with this, 'Jimi Hendrix's New York'! With Stevie Van Zandt interviewing Eddie Kramer and a Collette Harron who tailored Jimi's (and many other luminaries) clothes in the 60's. ua-cam.com/video/r-wgpAIPE8A/v-deo.htmlsi=8gVDbLbKDuftVKPU✌
Great job. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
I have 3 chibsons now, that first one impressed me so much I decided I wanted another one ,then one more,a cherry burst standard LP was my first, just when I thought they couldn't get any better, I got a black Angus Young SG with lightning bolt inlays, awesome tribute guitar, but I wanted a custom LP, so I went with a blue quilt top LP which is another fine guitar, I'm a player and I could care less what's on the headstock,no other budget guitar can beat a chibson,if you want to know what it's like to play a real LP,test drive a chibson, enjoy brother. 🤣👍
Great presentation... I too worked on the Universal lot ON/OFF for some 40 years under six different owners starting with MCA, and that was when it was called Universal City Studios... Yes, and I worked on PSYCHO II, and remember when the original Psycho house and Bates Motel were still on Laramie Street in 1977 when I first came to work at the studio. In the early 1980's MCA reconfigured the backlot, brought in giant earthmovers and removed the wilderness area and built the Blue-Sky backdrop, which unfortunately wasn't angled right as the seams kept showing in the afternoon light, so lots of painting over there. As you mentioned the Psycho house was moved up the newly constructed hill, or rather some of it was as it was falling apart from years of neglect. I was among other duties the studio historian at the time. I even got to meet it's designer Robert Clatworthy, little did he know that his piecemeal house would become the longest standing set in HOLLYWOOD history, for an iconic classic movie that was shot on a ow TV show budget with a TV crew that usually worked on Alfred Hitchcock's weekly series. The 400-acre lot has been concreted over so much, and has gone from a studio with a tour attached, to a theme park with a studio attached. Like all the other studios it is a totall rental lot, and was the last hold-out to that way of production. In the 1970's looking at my old call-sheets, we would have 27 of our own TV shows shooting, not to mention a few movies... that's when a TV show was produced on an assembly-line basis like old-HOLLYWOOD did with its movies. Night crews would strip out an old set overnight and leave a new one for the next days shooting. The irony of PSYCHO was that it was a Paramount not a Universal release, but they didn't know that Hitchcock's last movie on his contract with them was going to be so dark and graphic, they only knew it during production as a secret project called Wimpy, and they hated it. I believe they didn't wait to count the money from it too lobng as they sold there share in it to Hitchcock himself... And as Hitchcock's longtime agent was Lew Wasserrman the legendary and feared head of MCA, that's how it became a very profitable asset for MCA-Universal, and made Hitchcock the third largest stockholder in the company... Wasserman was the man who made Hitchcock a household name worldwide by backing his TV show and partnering in the merchandizing of his name!
Your stores are fascinating ~ VERY interesting ~ Thanks for watching and for sharing!
@@TheRootsMan Fascinating stories indeed, maybe I should write a book, I've written hundreds of articles and produced a few documentaries on the business... but I knew Mr. Hitchcock from growing-up close to where he was born in London, even closer on having worked on FRENZY before coming to HOLLYWOOD. When he died in 1980, the studio ran shuttles to his funeral... the very next morning they cleared out his office bungalow, the one closest to stage 12 where the house interior was located... not the spot it was moved to later!
🙏
Well done! Always wanted to see these places in NYC that I’ve heard so much about. I have been to the site of the Woodstock Festival, they make it difficult to find for obvious reasons.
I never made it to Woodstock, although I'd still like to go there some day. Thanks for watching!
Some of the text on the screen is just too tiny for me to read. I'm pausing it and trying to zoom in, but that is aggravating to have to keep doing. Im definitely interested in the content, but too many videos are like this, and it ruins the experience. Just saying.
Originally released by Paramount Studios, Universal has love this movie since 1969.
