Subatan is composed of two Turkish words "su" and "batan" which means
the place of water sinks or water sinks🌊
The reason for this name is a spring in this village whose water, after boiling from the soil, returned to the ground. The natives of the area say that this spring has attracted many people to this place until a few years ago🧍🏻‍♀️🧍🏻‍♂️
Subatan is located at an altitude between 1900 and 2500 meters above the sea, that's why its cold winters and heavy snow prevent life in the winter seasons, even in the summer you can see traces of snow in the soaring mountains.🏔️
