Love the idea that a Villians Show is coming next year! Maybe they are testing out villains and show scenes for the future Vilians Land at MK. I've never seen the McQueen's show since it is for little kids - at least that's what I believe - but I think I will give it a try before they shut it down for good. Besides the dates, any info you heard about Jollywood? Thanks for the updates - be well.

OH NO!! Not the Red Car Trolley 😞 Oogie Boogie Bash needs to come to Florida - they should do it at Hollywood Studies as another party - sort of like they do now at Christmas with Jollywood! That tower at Polynesian ruined the whole aesthetic of staying at that resort (IMHO). I am thankful that I stayed there when I did, but the Poly is now off my list of resorts. I hope they can find someone that can take over and repair some of the damage done to the Disney reputation, it needs help. Be well.

I don't mind them putting it over by Muppet's - as long as they do not destroy the Muppet Vision theater. That is sort of a dead area now with the exception of the two restaurants. It wouldn't be bad if they took over the Launch Bay area, because that is also a dead area now - I don't think it would really interfere with the new Mermaid show, as it is in the front of the area. I would rather see it go there, then destroy the Muppet area. YUMMO - FOOD! LOL. Looking forward to trying some of those treats! Are you attending at some point? I know you were recently down. There's been some nonsense online about the change in the scene at Peter Pan's - I happen to like the change. Not that I think there was anything really wrong with the original, but they new characters look a lot less angry, and much more realistic. I think it is a good change. I cannot see any individual paying $42 a month for a sports channel - maybe eateries or bars, but I personally think it is way over-priced. Maybe the delay is a good thing so Disney can review their pricing structure. Thanks for the updates - be well.

To be honest, I do not like the idea of replacing Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island. Also, to be honest, I no longer have a strong connection to either of these as an adult. As a kid, I loved Tom Sawyer Island-but that is a generational thing, and today's kids have no real connection with Tom Sawyer anymore. Ultimately, I am ok with the changes, but rest assured I will be visiting both each time I am in MK just for pictures and nostalgia. I just wish they would add to the park and not take aways, but I do realize that is not always possible. I also disagree about the themeing fitting in with that section, although Cars is set in the desert, it still just doesn't match IMHO. I am THRILLED about Villian's Land tho - LONG, LONG overdue. I like the idea of the land over a park though, because even tho there are a number of villains, I don't see how they could center a park around just villains. I also sincerely hope that this is just not talk and blue sky promises. Time will tell - and Disney definitely MUST do something. Be well.

I really hope that they actually DO SOMETHING this time. Obviously Josh saying the "No blue sky" comment was reference to the last couple of years. They really do not have a choice but to do some serious work so as not to fall behind Universal. Really looking forward to the new Test Track, and the Monster's Land sounds great for kids, as does the Cars area. At the top of my list tho, is Villians Land - which, IMHO, has been long overdue. Cool shirt! I cant believe Halloween starts at DW this week! Thanks for giving the schedule - now we can plan early. Looks like a great ship - I will be on the Treasure in January; will definitely make a reservation for the Destiny. Seems a bit steep there for Venu. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Haha - love all the treats for Halloween - most are pretty good, but I've had some that left much to be desired - but they all look good! Speaking of Deadpool/Wolverine, have you seen the movie? No spoilers - it is FANTASTIC. Marvel/Disney finally has a hit - and I really hope it sparks a re-birth in the franchise. Great to see Downy back in the MCU, but I had my doubts in the beginning of him being another character. It has since grown on me, I cant say I have any real problem with him being recast because he is a great actore. Hopefully it works. They should definitely recast Kang, I don't think it would have been wise to keep the original actor and finish. Thanks for the updates - be well.

What an awesome show they made! It was great to add something to DownTown. I hope they continue the show, and change it seasonally eventually. Great job filming and thanks for sharing. Oh yes - I still call it DownTown - but I remember it way back when it was called Lake Buena Vista Shopping Village when I went there with my folks in the '70s. D23 sounds awesome - as usual. Are you attending in person? Unfortunately, I am not - hopefully it comes back to Florida next year, which it most likey will. You know, everyone (well, online anyway), has been complaining about how the movie looks, I liked the trailer - and the movie looks good. I just think people like to complain about everything Disney does these days (although, I will admit everyone is justified about all the negativity about The Acolyte - just a terribly told story, and they killed of two of the three best people - Sol and Yorn.) Have you watched the show? It's a good idea for the single rider line! A few times I wanted to ride by myself and had to wait in the regular line, so I like the idea. Hopefully it works out. Jungle Cruise best be open by Christmas!!! Haha. Wasn't it just re-furbished though? I know they had rock work problems, but didn't think it was that bad really, maybe I'm wrong. Being local, I generally do not need Genie or LL unless family is coming down. This new system sounds a little ditzy - and what happens after you've paid for it, days in advance, and something happens where the ride goes down? Do you get refunded? Can you re-schedule? I can imagine people not being happy if either of those possibilities are not accounted for during the change. I'm liking the new Bear outfits as it matches the music. Romeo will always be LiverLips! 🤣 Definitely looking forward to the new show. Wandavision was great, so I am hoping Agatha works. Other than the ride itself, the new tech, and the animatronics, my biggest complaints (other than the constant shutting down and the evas, which have been experienced) is that to me there is much empty space, and that they abandoned the original story of the movie. There is an important character missing - if they felt it was good enough for the movie, then it should be good enough for the ride. I also find it ironic that Splash Mountain was changed because of it supposed issues dealing with the time period, yet they placed the new ride in a salt mine, in which slaves were forced to work. I've also read there were issues with some of the signs in the queue that had to be removed due to content. I wont say I hate the ride - because I don't, and Splash Mountain was not even one of my goto rides (I generally do not like water rides), but I will say honestly - I am not impressed at all. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Glad you got to experience the ride with no problems - consider yourself quite lucky. Hope the rest of your vacation was as magical. Be well.

I'm happy that Jollywood is returning! I didn't go the first two evenings (I know better than to do that for new events, LOL). I can honestly say that I enjoyed the night. I am happy they are extending the extra hour, in fact I would even pay more for more time. My only complaints from last year - was the Nightmare show did not have Sally, dining at the Brown Derby "ate" up too much time (the extra hour now will make it better), and the nightclub scene around the Tower was way to congested - but fun. Very Merry is always a blast - especially the ride overlays. They need to bring back the ice on the Castle! One of these days I will have to make it out to CA for their holiday festivities, I've been there but not during the holidays. Have an AWESOME time in DW!!! Hopefully you will share your thoughts on TBA, I'm interested in your thoughts and will share mine after I know you have ridden the ride. ENJOY and have FUN! Be well.

Looking forward to the change at TT - I heard it will be very reminiscent of the original. Definitely one of my favorite rides. I'll miss the shooting arcade, and to be honest, even though a DVC member, I can do without these lounges, especially when they take away attractions. I do not go to the parks to lounge! They need to do something with Tiana. I don't know if it was a rush job, poor planning , or poor construction - but it has been CONSTANTLY breaking down. It was re-theme, not a new ride. I get this is what previews are designed for, but it should not be breaking down the way it is, and people sitting on it for over a 1/2 hour waiting to be evaced? That's insane. I would not open that ride on the 28th. Thanks for the update - be well.

Yay! Glad to hear Country Bears is back!! Honestly, Jollywood was great - after the initial night. After the first night, much easier to get the bands, and overall it was a good night. I will say the band and the bar by the Tower of Terror - while understanding why they were placed there (related to the timeline) really should have been thought-out a bit better. Hopefully, they have better plans. The Nightmare show was fantastic - again, they should have had Sally. Overall, I enjoyed Jollywood. I miss the Little Mermaid show, so I am happy to hear they are working on this as well. Hopefully it will be done soon. Always good to try new treats! No longer WALLCOT! Looking forward to the new Bear show! The rooms at Poly Tower do look beautiful; with that being said, they are not my thing - they look way to beige, and way too boring for my tastes. Nice to see Fantasmic has come back to Disneyland. It's funny you said it looked like there were budget cuts - because I thought the same, but I thought maybe it was the way it was filmed. Love they paid tribute to the service men in the queue, I'm looking forward to spending some time looking at everything in the queue line. While I haven't yet seen the preview in the park, from the preview I saw at the movies, I'm not too sure how appropriate that movie will be for young audiences. The first one was fantastic, but I will have to see it first before I let the little ones watch. As always, thanks for the update - be well.

It is fantastic that they are adding a nighttime show to Springs. I really look forward to seeing it and I am sure it will be fantastic. I hope that this is the beginning of more drone shows at the parks - it would be perfect at AK as they wouldn't spook the animals. AK definitely needs a show to encourage people to stay longer. Looking forward to the new Bear show. I'm hoping it is a good change and they don't ruin the "down home" feeling of the original. Not really sure how I feel about Venu - seems like a stretch to be adding another streaming service - I honestly don't see it taking off. Worst vlog ever

As a DVC, D23, and AP holder, I do not care for the way they are handling previews either. I actually took a wild guess and booked MK for a few days during the week of previews - which admittedly is NOT fair, and I am sure I am not the only person to do so. While I am looking forward to riding, this is a one and done for me because I don't really care for the re-theme nor do I enjoy water rides . Assuming I go, I will ride this and leave the park so I can get cleaned up. I don't know how people can ride these rides and then walk around the park all day - I simply cannot 🤣 I can't say I'm thrilled with the tower for Poly, I would have rather they created a new hotel somewhere else. Its way too big, and encroaches on the GF. Any clue as to what those two big 'window' boxes are? It looks like a seating area, but not sure. Thanks for the updates as always. Be well.

So excited for Halloween this year I can’t believe 2024 !?

I've been waiting for them to release tickets-I've got mine already! I love their Halloween celebration. Last year, I was Stanley Yelnats, and my costume was a big hit with patrons and cast members (I actually "stole" the idea from someone.) 🤣 I do wish they would bring back the Villian's Night they had in Hollywood Studios, I think, in 2019. Cannot wait to sail on the Treasure. We are booked for their 3rd voyage. Any thoughts on The Alcolyte trailers? Be well.

It amazes me how talented people can be, Jim Henson was amazing!! Can't wait to watch that.

I don't mind the shortening of Food & Wine, I love the festiva; but I do feel it was a bit long. I would have rather it started in July, and ended earlier. I'm wondering if the reason behind shortening the festival is overkill? Not that I dislike present day Hollywood Studios, but I do miss the original MGM studios - especially the backlot tour, the Osborne lights at Christmas, and when they had the animatos working. Fun times, and I am glad I got to experience these attractions. Mixed feelings about Mufasa. Do we really need another Lion King movie? Are there really no other stories that Disney cannot tell? On some of the boards I follow, it would appear that DVC and AP preview happens during the last two weeks in June, although nothing official has been announced. I agree that the week of July 4th looks like a good bet for it to open officially. I love the idea of sniffy elephants! It's always fun for the kids (and yes, Disney adults) to do these scavenger hunts. I still have all the handouts from various scavenger hunts around the parks. Looking forward to doing this one. I would imagine it is only a matter of time before DW converts to electric cars as well. It is not change that I dislike really - I just think it is time. A well deserved award for Victoria and Alberts. Excellent food and service. It's about time they streamlined the login! What took so long! 🤣 As always, thanks for the updates. Be well.

I didn’t realize til reading the comments here that the ride is set after the movie and will have no facilier. But that’s okay! That might’ve been a little too dark for the kiddos. I just wish they’d announce the AP preview dates and opening date already. I like the changes to the DAS pass honestly. It’ll weed out the people that don’t actually need it that have been abusing it for years.

The more they show about Tianas's ride, the more I am looking forward to riding, and visiting the shops. The changes to DAS really should not affect the people that really - TRULY - need them. I was reading today that there is a group that is bringing a lawsuit now. Honestly, I think Disney should go the way Universal has and utilize a third-party vendor to deal with the passes. I suspect they will eventually do this if their changes become problematic. The biggest problem I see is when overseas guest visit the parks and may not have the proper documentation. Hopefully, their travel agents overseas get very familiar with the process. Any word or ideas on what they are doing to the NBA Experience at Downtown Disney? I know they started working on it - hopefully City Works remains, it is a great place. Thanks for the updates - be well.

GREAT animontronics! I sincerely hope these are the ones they will be installing at the Country Bears Jamboree. Looking forward to the new Test Track - I like the look of it as its sort of a throw back to previous versions. Hopefully they keep the 'building you own car' part as I always enjoy working on it whenever I go. I was reading somewhere that they are working on an update to the ride system at Soaring to make it more realistic. Enjoyed the Moana movie, so I am looking forward to part two. Love Toy Story - and I am glad the Manalorian is going to the big screen The last season was so-so, but I enjoy the series overall. Thanks for the updates - be well.
