      Id like to see a 1 remake and I wouldn’t be opposed to 5 remake. Obviously a new game should be in the works. A hunk game will probably be terrible. At this point if they don’t do a CV remake people will riot

    The 2 Remakes are RE9 & RE1 , besides of Code Veronica (Which everyone ignored) And CapCom especially lied about Developing 5 Resident Evil games (Which they’re only working on 2 Remakes recently) I also thought of seeing Resident Evil 1 Remake would be very complicated about Jill/Chris players interacting with certain delusional Puzzle Changes than the Original RE1 (Idk why they would Remake RE1 because it’s almost CapCom’s Anniversary by the way)

    I'm confused; He stated mutual chat that "at times leaned into being inappropriate" which were deemed not sexting by Twitch's trust & safety team, did not warrant CSAM, reviewed by NCMEC who took no actions (likely as deemed non-malicious) & did not attempt to meet the user ???

      He admitted on his own that he inappropriately messaged a minor. Then he walked it back and said it was all bait. If it’s non malicious and wasn’t harmful then why can’t we see these messages? Just show them and then it’s case closed. Something is off. Regardless them being sexual or not it’s not okay for a grown ass man to be talking inappropriately to a minor.

      @@DadsGameRoompodcast I dont think he cares what we think, i think he cares about keeping confidentiality until his follow up lawsuit, and until he makes millions on the lawsuit, hes going to make even more just picking streaming back up. We can also ask why no one else leaked the chat. The person who was 16 or 17 said they never had a problem or felt uncomfortable, nor did the "leaker" or twitch feel like leaking the chat. "innapropriate" can be even considered TALKING to a minor or having some innapropriate humor. Dudes on a diffeerent wavelength, his family going on million dollar vacations not leaving a dent on his wallet, hes playing the game and winning. Us as viewers will just have to sit back and wait. @@Skylarhoosmedia oh I definitely think everyone else who has the chat logs is wrong for not leaking them. To say the minor was alright with it is a crazy take. There’s tons of victims who have had cruel disgusting things done to them and they “didn’t think it was wrong”. What were his intentions? We may never know. Was it sexually charged conversation? We may never know. But admitting to talking inappropriately to a minor is enough for me to have an opinion on his character and to voice my opinions the he needs to be watched and monitored.

      @@DadsGameRoompodcast he never admitted to inappropriately messaging a minor. can you re-read that sentence on that comment you replied to. also why do you all make it seem like he was actively chasing minors to talk inappropriately to? plus. sexting is illegal. you dont have to type any mention sexual explicit words to be considered sexting. "- Hey what you going to do today?" "- You" is enough to be considered sexting. just hinting or talking sexually/flirtatiously is enough to be considered sexting by law. they didnt found this to be sexting also anyone who has claimed to have seen the messages would end up in jail too for covering up a crime if the messages were sexual at all. go watch that heavy metal lawyer that analyzes most stuff on youtube.

    Im gonna sum this up for people. Guy did absplutely nothing wrong, let me explain. TDLT: if he was doing anything illegal on Twitchea platform they wouldnt have nor would be entitled to his complete Twotch contractual payout. They had to pay hos cobtract out. The ALLEGATIONS alone had irreparably damaged his image and career and if sued he wouldve taken far more than his contractual payout in the loss of damages that he did take from the allegations alone. Now HOW did this go? Once the diacovery was done it was found that infact Guy had done nothing wrong and through the onvestigations from twitch they found that he was completely innocent and they had made a grave mostake by allowing it to gwy that far, to the point they were forced to fire him for public image. IE:Gina Carono situation but on twitter. Im not gping to pretend i know the dude, i love him despite never watching a stream of his. BUT, i was hit with a false allegation when i was young that i was pretty quickly exonerrated drom,YET, i lost a career i loved and 100% of my socoal circle to the point i was forced to move out of my hometown. So when i see how he looks and acts whenever its been brought up, it simply, to me, looks like a man that had the ultinate betrayal despite not doing anything wrong. Ive always lead teams in competitive play and i had 2 young dudes on my core squad, at one time one was 17 and the other 14 and i was like 28. Theyvwere on my twam because the 14 year old was and still is the best genji player ive ever seen and yeah, he geta up clutches and wins and bits mom asked me to mentor him through gaming and leadership because his father passed away. Sometimes we shared some oretty Fd up memes. Seeing as finding something "inappropriate" is 1000% subjective. In this current era of how media and corporations and haslighting sociopaths use words to spin narratives, i dont believe it was anything that innapropriate. Not in todays era of freaking twotter and IGs allowed content displayed towards actual minors smfh. Guy doesnt strike me as a "diddy". Everytime hes on camera out of character he jist cpmes off like a regular guy. He has every model lined up if he so chose, its not plausible to do what the internet alleges. What is plausible? An entire internet of envious haters waiting for any shred of anything to justify their hatred towards another, who are chronically online and are 30 year old virgins(men and women). Thats my hot take.

    Gaming, as a creative art, has a theoretical space it has been filling out since the 1980s. It is conceivable that the art has explored the majority of that space, and that indeed, future games will be more and more of the same. yeah, i am not super in depth in how every thing with transitioning works but i do know that you have to be of legal age to under go gender affirming surgeries. you are going under gender affirming care which is the first few steps to fully transitioning, once you are done with puberty blockers you move one to estrogen or testosterone injections right? (think i have the timeline of events right could be wrong tho)

    • @PhoenixY-g2s

      Pretty much, the general medical consensus is no surgeries (some rare exceptions) until 18, and my state has additional restrictions that only reversible treatments, like puberty blockers, are allowed before turning 18. The general medical pathway for minors tends to be puberty blockers, typically for 1 or 2 years, so that they have more time to decide if this is the right path without any permanent changes, either from puberty or from hormones, and then after that waiting period they would move onto estrogen or testosterone.

When parents jump to extremes immediately. I’ve seen several parents jump to therapy because there kid throws a tantrum, jump to medications because they don’t pay attention, etc….. now i don’t know those exact scenarios in every single detail however I do know a 4 year old child will throw tantrums, they won’t pay attention, and they have phases. Besides not giving enough credit to the NES and its gaming experience being "a product of its time," y'all didn't do a good enough job distinguishing the _console_ experience (being tethered to relatively small low-quality TVs using RF adapter cables in the family room) from the overall quality of the games (the arguably 50 or less "good ones" out of the 7-800 or so officially licensed by Nintendo titles released during the console's original lifetime) beyond the 30 seconds or so talking about the "modern" play experience of retro games vs back then, and that's not even including the differences between the NES experience and game quality vs that of chief competitors Atari or Sega back then before Nintendo released the SNES. On top of that, the NES was meant to be the "before" in a video games evolutionary chart, not an "after," never the final rung on that ladder; introducing it to someone who's already been exposed to more modern video gaming first and expecting them to immediately be on board and then being disappointed when they're not is a very disingenuous proposition.

      This video wasn’t meant to be a deep dive into the console or the way we connect it. There are people on UA-cam that will do that way better than we ever could. This was a look at the console from an average perspective and a new generation perspective. Our kids and our kids kids. Will it live on or will it eventually die out? Idk how well we got that point across since I’m fairly certain we probably got sidetracked in our conversation and trailed off lol. How many quality games on the consoles I’m aware is rather subjective. Different strokes for different folks. But if a kid looking to get into the NES were to get it with 10 games. Would they be of quality or would they be junk? Things we enjoy thinking about and looking at. NES was my first console. I played it a ton. I still have one and I collect the games I want for it. However I think when I look at the console from a collector standpoint I find it to be a bit overrated. I don’t think it’s bad by any means. But a little overrated.

      @@DadsGameRoompodcast I neither agree nor disagree on the opinion that the console is overrated if only on the strength of its games knowing that, yes, the likelihood of choosing even one good game, let alone 10, out of the around 800 officially released titles is at best maybe 50/800 if I'm being generous like I estimated in my original comment. I grew up with Simon's Quest rather than Castlevania 1 or 3 and hated it with a passion. We had Mission: Impossible instead of Metal Gear for some reason. We had this block moving game called Puzznic. We had the first TMNT instead of the second one. I was no stranger to bad games on the NES. On the other hand, we also had Super Mario Bros 1 and 3, found our way to playing 2 fairly often at a friend's house, had Double Dragon 2, played Mega Man 3 and TMNT 2 at that friend's house, played Chip 'n Dale, DuckTales, and Life Force at other friends' places, and rented whatever else we weren't able to immediately get ahold of. Even for a poor family like ours, discovery of what was good or not was part of the experience.

      @@apollolux I like your viewpoint about discoverability. In the context of a newer generation of player I think it goes on a case by case basis whether they stick to trying out new games or if they let the bad ones ruin the experience. We have so many games to play now at any given moment. Hundreds of thousands. Hell probably millions. At the time when we were playing the NES that was all we had. We had to play these games or not play at all. I wish we had incorporated that point into the discussion here but hindsight 20/20.

    Lol the NES was great for it's time. And still playable now. The Atari and everything else is waaaay more dated. Of course it's easy to say "ItS NoT GoOd" almost 40 years later. NES is a great system for it's limitations. Edit: Mario 3 is definitely timeless lol

      I agree the NES is a good system. I enjoy it. We were looking at it from a newer generation perspective. Like our kids or our kids kids. We probably god side tracked 🤣 between the conversation and me almost choking Andy 🤣🤣 Mario 3 is definitely timeless and anyone who says otherwise is a loser lol. Speaking of timeless we did a segment releasing soon on games that have transcended time if we caught your interest!

    Define "minor". Define "child". Define "age of consent". Definitions are not supposed to be arbitrary. Only in the west do we literally redefine terminology to ruin lives. The only thing the Doc was guilty of 7 years ago was adultery and yes, it is adultery by simply talking in a sexual manner to someone other than your spouse. 17 year old females are not children. If this were the case, every human being on the planet is guilty. I know plenty of people whose parents were under the "age of consent" and had children... I'm one of them. Nothing but a witch hunt.

      @@DadsGameRoompodcast Your point is what? I'm offering you an out and that out is using basic logic. Guy Beahm went to court to defend himself 7 years ago. If he was guilty of actual inappropriate conduct, he would have went to prison. He'd still be there. Turns out, he not only won that case but also received a settlement from Twitch for breaching their contract. These are facts, not speculation.

    Here's the thing. Newer generations of gamers expect the game to tell them how to play it, since games have been doing that since the 16-bit era. But games couldn't do that back then, there wasn't enough space. You needed the manual for that. Because of that, newer generations won't 'get' the NES as a whole. Does that make it not good though? No. It's still a good system, whether you're nostalgic for it or not. I've played many NES games that I had never heard of and have no nostalgia for and I've still enjoyed them thoroughly.

    • @DadsGameRoompodcast
      @DadsGameRoompodcast 3 місяці тому

      Definitely! I’m sure there are some out there that I would enjoy as well. You have a very good point with the manual and stuff. Google does exist so they could just do that and get the same outcome as a manual. I enjoy the NES but I do find it a little bit overrated

    Yes, the NES is 'good'. Is it the PS5? No, it's a 40 year old system built on 50 year old tech. It's obviously not going to be up to modern standards.

    • @DadsGameRoompodcast
      @DadsGameRoompodcast 3 місяці тому

      By no means are we comparing it to new tech. We are trying to look at it from a newer generation standpoint. Will our kids or our kids kids love and enjoy the console? How easily could a newer gamer pick up the NES and enjoy it? That’s what we tried to do with this video. Thanks for watching btw!

Will they fall in love with the console or will it become a giant paperweight. The NES my first console as well and I do believe some franchises still hold up to this day. We just think it’s a bit overrated in the overall console discussion.

    These guys have no idea how legal system works or what’s legal and what’s not legal. Was it morally wrong to cheat on his wife i mean sure is it wierd the girl was young sure was she age of consent of course she was or he would be behind bars. It went to court and they let the man go. These are the types of people that will support abortions and let your kids make a decision of their own sex change at 5 years old and then put someone on death row for talking to someone who can consent to the chat for themselves and don’t legally need a parent to consent for them.
