Fools Rush In
I wrote this piece of doom-laden electronica in autumn 2014. Unlike most of my pieces, this didn't get the remix treatment until early 2022, when I added a new bass-synth, and replaced a pluck synth with a softer bell-like sound. I also performed the obligatory levelling and EQ updates.

I put this together in early autumn 2014, and remixed it within 3 days, to add some filter modulation to one of the synths. In October 2021 I remixed it for a final time, making some panning, levelling and EQ adjustments. I also added a new Microtonic drum track. Xenomorphs and acid - a decidedly lethal combination. Here is another ambient piece that I wrote in July 2014 for inclusion on Ambient Online Compilation Volume 3. It underwent 3 remixes in 2014, and 1 more in 2021 and 2022, before release on my album "Pyroglyphs" in 2023. This piece of downtempo/chillout was written in 2014 and features various synths, my Fender Strat and Squier Jazz Bass Active IV. I remixed it in 2021, tweaking the volume, panning and EQ. I wrote this Berlin-school inspired piece in the spring of 2014. It was quite a difficult track to produce, featuring some quite complex routing. This track was originally made in autumn 2010, and the November/December 2013 remixes resulted in the addition of an acid synth part. This is another track originally from autumn 2010, combining an '80s sampled drum machine with some atmospherics. This track was written in September 2010, and remixed in June and July 2013. The original featured some sounds from Kore Player which I lost when my computer used for the original recording died in late 2011. One thing I like about the discussion we have been having thus far, is that we both take time to explore the specific references, that the other chap brings up. A conversation is more than expressing oneself; it is an opportunity to be influenced by another persons unique emphasis. I will have a response in a couple of days as usual. Caution: Bradley might give this a thumbs down, as he resorts to childish, petty behavior, when he doesn't get his way. I gave this a thumbs up, but I have observed that as UA-cam becomes more complex, it has issues with basic things like properly reflecting an up vote. I have the Psychic TV -“Just Like Arcadia” song stuck in my head, by the way.
