Your voice is so relaxing😊
Can this be done on dogs? My dog lost sudden vision @ 3 years old. Retina detachment in both eyes.
Really simple and informative
Very well done, Dr. Ayalon! 👏
Nice video
Nice video and narration Anfisa!
Thank you, John!
Excelent explications ! Thank you Doctor!
A Cricket ball hit on my right eye due to unawareness as other eye working I couldn't understand loss of vison in other eye so it delayed Maximum 4-5 years that eye started squint extropia then we went to a hospital doctors said it is a Rhegmatogenuous Retinal detachment and they did surgery and in the subsequent surgery they also removed silicone oil and catract was formed that surgery also done successfully and Vision restored to 20/100 Recently after 14 years again suddenly vision lost in the right eye due to same Rhegmatogenous Retinal detachment again retina detached so they did surgery and removed silicone oil within 1.5 month I don't know why again retina got detached so again RRD surgery done post this surgery Sudden IOP increase 54mmg and immediately visited Hospital they reduced it immediately and im thinking this iop increase is due silicone oil in the eye In the next visit retina doctor told me my optic nerve is weak and doctor is uncertain till we remove silicone oil she said But im thinking due to silicone oil it temporarily stopped optic nerve function Now vision in that eye is HM+ only After removing silicone oil Can i see improvement in vison? Any possibility for significant improvement??? Any other advancement to restore vison in this cases possiblity or hope of future? Address first question after silicone oil removal vison improvement possiblity as I told I have visited hospital immediately with 24-48 hours as pressure increase and managed IOP I'm using drops also now to control IOP it's under control As retina attached with silicone oil and my restricted to HM+ only I don't know what happened to optic nerve
Thank You so much. 😊👍
Please upload video on constellation foot pedal functions
Good evening mam Can u make a video on Alcon constellation machine and foot pedal settings and functions
How can I get intouch with you?
In retinal detachment surgery, I drain the subretinal fluid with passive bacflush over the retinal tear. Even though I increased the pressure to 65-70, this process is slow. I don’t close the backflush hole. I am using a 23G system. I always use PFCL. Do you have any suggestions for this situation? Are there any drawbacks or features of using a vitrectomy probe for this procedure? Thanks a lot.
muchas gracias por el video
Thank you for not making me want to go back to do this a 3rd time in a 4 month period....
How are you now?
thak u for existing
საქართველო აქვს მასეთი მოწყობილობა?
Thanks
thanks al lot for this video
Thanks so much. How to remove residual tiny bubbles that are stucked over retinal surface under fluid?
I m not sure of third option, how safe that is to do
This is what they will try this time with my eye. God i hope it works. Im tured of seeing the world thru a fun mirror. Fun at first then its like a bad acid trip hahaa

Is total retinal dis attachment be cured?
Этва аперация несколко этап будид или адин раза палучайютса
Very neatly done
Settings faros?
👍
THANKS ANFISA, WILL THERE BE A SECOND PART?
Hello Mario. Absolutely, I'm currently working on it :)
Very useful
What should be the intraocular pressure during active fluid air exchange by the machine??
Since an active flute needle utilizes the vacuum of vitrectomy machine, it does not require an elevation of infusion pressure. IOP can be kept at normal ranges.
thank you so much
thank you so much
Marvelous
Why is this procedure not done with precise, unfaillable robotics
So Doctor you just told us to how to make our own retinal pick...yay😊
Can you elobarate the PFCL
Nice thanks
Last time i did drainage retinotomy was 30 years ago when i was fellow It is a crime nowadays
Thank you for a great video! Is it okay to leave approx.50 small pfcl droplets in my vitreous chamber for the rest of my life? Those have been in my vitreous chamber since 10/18/2022 My retina doctor attempted 2nd vitrectomy to remove all of pfcl but somehow he couldn’t remove all at the 2nd surgery either. I’m worried since my vision is cloudy and blurry after, cataract and 2nd vitrectomy surgery for removing pfcl two weeks ago, 1/31/ 2023 My retina doctor told me not to worry about it but those pfcl bubbles are so annoying when I lay down flat on my back and concerned if those give me cloudy and blurry vision, but the retina doctor told me my blurry vision is due to cornea edema and now only focuse on healing of the cornea first.
Hi very useful ..one query ..If trypan blue only crosses membrane of dead cells as in erm then how does it stain posterior capsule during cataract surgery?
This is a really good question. I made a brief literature search on your question and here is what I found: "Trypan blue is a stain used to quantify live cells by labeling dead cells exclusively. Because live cells have an intact cell membrane, trypan blue cannot penetrate the cell membrane of live cells and enter the cytoplasm. In a dead cell, trypan blue passes through the porous cell membrane and enters the cytoplasm. Under light microscopy analysis, only dead cells have a blue color. Trypan blue is also used to eliminate false positives from occurring during cell counting by flow cytometry" (1) "Bis-azo dyes, such as trypan blue, stain poorly hydrated tissues better than well-hydrated ones. The lens cortex consisting of lens fibers has high water content compared to the acellular basement membrane. This would explain why the dye stains the basement membrane without clinically significant staining of the lens cortex".(2) Sinumol S et al proposed also that application of trypan blue dye causes capsulae cell degeneration. (3)All mentioned facts probably can explain why the anterior lens capsule can be stained by trypan blue. According to the posterior capsule, I found this research (4) which tells that "It is not entirely clear whether the area of staining involves the posterior capsule, the anterior hyaloid face, or both". I also think that the 3d study can explain the staining of also posterior capsule. But absolutely it would be very interesting to study the mechanism of trypan blue staining of the posterior capsule. 1.(Singh, A., Sarodia, U., Brown, L. et al. @@RetinaCoach i meant anterior capsule .. this was very useful ..thanks for taking the effort to clarify my doubt..thanks dr anfisa .ur surgical retina videos are really useful especially as I'm going to pursue my fellowship from next month..
I also learnt why the lens cortex is spared in the trypan blue staining
Thanks for your videos, super useful
Thank you for your effort
Very useful eagerly awaiting more videos on this page
Good job
Very good! Chazak ve Ematz!
thanks! hope you'll continue the dive into the Constellation subpanels!
Thanks!
Excellent video When you change fragmatome to vitreotome do you introduce the cutter by scleral incision or you put the trocart ?
Congratulations... Very informative Hope to see more videos from your channel..
