TENET is definitely my #1 Nolan film, if we're using backwards reverse logic like the film does.

How can a not bad but very flawed movie like Tenet win nr. 1 spot?! It’s got more plot holes than any swiss cheese. And the character are so one dimensional.

I'm shocked when people say Tenet is a great movie. If you at all focus on anyone but the main character the movie becomes a complete mess. It ends up losing a lot of it's audience in favor of a grander plot, one that most people will claim to have understood. But, when compared side-by-side to a movie like Inception it's painfully obvious that Tenet is much more confusing, has a lack of starpower, and the plotline is much more immature. There is no bad guy to Inception- It's a cast full of imperfect characters. Tenet? Can't let the bad European yacht guy have his way. It trades story-telling for substance in so many different ways.

The guy complaining about Nolan movies being too long, I wonder what he thinks of Lord of the Rings movies, particularly the extended edition of them that have four hours run time for each movie in the triology. Personally, I don't mind even four hour movies if they are engaging.
