I haven't done a 100-miler in quite a few months, and I don't even remember when I last did a solo 100, so I decided now was a good a time as any to go!     Nice setup. I had an original V1 ATR but sold becuase it little too big. Now thinking of combing my three bikes into one and getting another ATR with several sets of wheels. I currently run a SON dynamo with K-lites from Australia. Stonkingly bright!

    Leave it to the puppy to come in all cheeky like and wee in the background, haha. I'm really looking forward to putting these on my road bike- I'm a bigger guy, and traditional drop bars are hard for me to work with- the angles on this bar should fit the bill.

    can't agree more on the difficulty to zipup around the bend; in my case putting the vaseline helped a lot, at least making it smoother for the zipper to move up.

    Good job. For small soda can as base, use an deodorant tube for pot support, more sturdy and don't need overlap.

I would really like to get into kayaking but trying to transport one has me baffled.       Yeah, it's totally novice friendly, even I can use it! Weighs about 13kg, I believe - something like that. I've even bought a packraft that I'm yet to try out - that's even more portable! And thanks for your kind words! 😃🥰

    Under heavy rain water will eventually get into that large hole of any waterproof cycling shoe. I found that a pair of drysuit ankle seals over the top of the neoprene cuff can be used to stop water getting in with a minor mod/ hack it's 10% sorted.

    Such an engaging video - love the friendly conversational style! I think I'm about the same age as you so it's great to see not all wild campers are in their early twenties! Not sure it makes me want to wild camp though. A campsite with some facilities and a nice country pub next door gets my vote. As for axe-murderers, if someone wanted to chop up someone in a tent they'd probably head for a campsite anyway as likely to have more success!

    Great shoes! I wear it down to -20°C with a merino sock. After three years of using Fizik Artica, the seam on the right aqua-zip began to diverge. Maybe because I have a high instep. Took a size larger. Probably the next will have to take a half.

      I honestly didn't think they came in different sizes! Would have to check but I'm pretty sure it doesn't say on the bivvy itself and I'm not sure I know where the stuff sack is! 🤔
