So what about my Wife's AWD with selectible transfercase? What about the 4 wheel drive vehicles with locking center diff.... Sorry 4wd and AWD are only marketing terms. They dont actually mean anything more than you can power all 4 wheels. AWD is marketed towards on-road performance, 4x4 is marketed toward offroad performance. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yessir I've seen many trucks tryna turn with a full trailer while in 4× , not fun

They tried that crap with me once but the lazy salesman that didn’t follow up with his customer didn’t get the commission If you don’t make the sale you don’t deserve the commission

I handed my Cherry Nissan 300 ZX 2+2 with less than 50,000 miles to my 16 year old highschooler son. It got so dinged and bashed just in the first few months that I chose not to look at it and within a year it was totaled. Still less than 60,000 miles and the engine purring like a cat, but sadly totaled. Next car I handed him was my 2000 Nissan Maxima with hundred thousand miles. And he drove that one till he was in his late 20s and finally bought a BMW 435 I Gran Coupe with his own money. And now he really babies his car like I babied my 300 ZX . So the lesson is unless you pay for it you don’t appreciate it 😅

You really want a beater for your first car. I have a kid in my grade and his dad bought him a 2015 Toyota Tacoma and it looked pretty much brand new, he has been driving it for 3 months and has already been in 3 minor fender benders in the parking lot and it is overall beat to crap

My first car was an astro van with a dented in drivers side door so I had to get in and out on the passenger side. It also had a terrible oil leak followed by a coolant leak.

Corolla is really good choice as a first car. My first car also is Corolla, although I bought by myself. I still feeling what a wounderful experience with my Toyota Corolla. No breakdowns on the street, no major problem.
