😂😂😂😂😂 we had a driver that would piss in a milk jug, and he would pour it out on the parking lot where we hooked to our trailers. He was to lazy to walk to the back of the trailer and pour it in the grass. He finally got fired.

Those are electrodes and are supposed to be a covered load so they don't get moisture and other contamination in and on them because they can pop and explode. Didn't your load log say this?

I liked shingles as well. You almost don't need straps to hold the load on, as long as you're not trying to drive like a rally racer .... 🤣 I've had to tarp a handful of loads, mainly because there was some stuff in cardboard that needed protecting. Most of the shingles I got over the last 10-11 years was out of Shakopee, MN, usually going to Nebraska. I like to see the LONG edge protectors, as well as the half-twist in the straps. You learned your craft well. I just retired from trucking after 40 years; 35 was as a flatbedder. One of the dumbest drivers I'd seen with shingles was a Swift driver in Kansas - he had NO edge protectors on, and was cranking on the strap so hard he had cut into the first FOUR layers! I was able to stop him on the first strap, so he destroyed only two pallets' worth....
