My problem with these cars is not really the car itself. While it claims to be eco friendly, 10 years from now, we need to propely dispose off their batteries. As of now, the country does not have plans or laws pertaining to battery disposal. I would like to get one and at the same time be responsible on disposing off their batteries.

Dealer said 8 year warranty on battery that has 10 year life and 3 years on hybrid car. NiMH battery costs 180K now. Also better to understand the fine lines on what battery and car issues that are considered under warranty or not. RESALE VALUE maybe an issue for some after 5yrs or more as buyer may possibly shoulder expensive battery replacement. Comments?
