The 2002 PMEA All-State Orchestra and Chorus unite in the concert finale at the brand-new Verizon Hall, Kimmel Center, Philadelphia. This piece was sung annually to close the PMEA All-State festival, with the orchestra and band alternating years playing (the 'off-group' would sing with the chorus). 2002 was the final year of this tradition; in 2003 the performances were divided into two concerts, so it was no longer possible to unite singers and instrumentalists.
