Does it always leave the line that you have traveled on the display?

People need to know that you can’t share those maps across the network to other units on the network. Only solix units share. Need to buy a second card 100+ bucks for them both ti read it.

i want to use side imaging to do a mosaic and then import onto a lowrance unit. i have a helix 9 which does not have auto chart live mosaics so i cannot see the swaths my side imaging covers. is there a way to see where i've been? how do i record and import raw side image data to reefmaster?

Question for you.. I fought with auto chart live for 2 weeks after getting my helix 10 g4n. I could never see the colored path on the base map with contour lines as I mapped. Nobody, including Humminbird tech, could figure it out. Then by accident I found out that you have to zoom in to be able to see the depths and colored path as I map. Why doesn't anyone say you have to zoom on all these videos?

I've fished El Salto many times and caught a 6# on a 10" Yamamoto worm rigged on a 5/0 Gamakatsu hook. When I lipped it, it had the remnants of about what had been a 1.5# Tilapia wedged into it's gullet that was half rotted away... Best off the lake was 12.5, my buddys has been 18.

Keep up this good work, need more people like yourself and Steve Chiasson doing these very informative videos. There are a lot of HB users who are only getting really Minimum usage out of all the features available.

Question for you. Do you have to use a Lake Master chip for Autochart Live to work. This is one area where I feel HB has crapped the bed. They don't tell you up front what works with what. If you have I-Pilot Link and want to follow a contour, can you follow that contour on a Navionics chip? Does AutoChart Live work with Navionics map chip? I had also found another piece of work which you required a Lake Master chip instead of Navionics to make unit function properly. Remembered which the other function was. If you want to set shallow depth for safety measure, works with Navionics but if you go down a bit further and want to set a depth where you want to target for fishing say between 16 and 30 fow, won't work with navionics chip, but put in a Lake Master chip and voila, your map colouring has changed to show ALL water in the 16 - 30 foot range. See, you learned something new today.

This didn’t work for me. I think it’s because Humminbird says you need the Pro version to see bottom hardness maps. I ran through all the settings in the video with the right card, but it doesn’t display the hardness.

I made autochart maps with the helix 7 G3N. Option-folow the contour- is not working on my i pilot link minn kota and ... I record autochart in internal memory of G3N.. I dont have -zero line- card. Is that problem or what?

What’s the relationship between quality and boat speed? Haven found that anywhere.

If you try to answer the call you have to turn Bluetooth off. That's my biggest problem cause by the time I do this the call is lost.

I feel your pain. I have similar days. All in one day, caught an alligator gar on a 9 inch bull shad and got it to the boat and gar cut line. Tied a new one on, got a backlash and the line snapped sending my second 9 inch Bull shad sailing. Fished awhile longer and decided to move to another spot, forgot to pick up the trolling motor, blast off and get soaked as the boat comes off plane and realize the spray is from my trolling motor. Broke the shaft head and snapped the motor head off the carbon fiber shaft. Expensive day on a perfect weather spawn day.

go to bluetooth setting on your phone..... hit the "i" next to your helix device name... turn on "show notifications" ...... it has to be turned on here as well and NOT just in the the notifications setting section of your phone/tablet ..... you can also choose to "sync your contacts" ..... this step also applies for any car/truck that has the ability to display text msgs via bluetooth

I tried this on my helix 9 di and when I went into accessories there was no choice to connect Bluetooth.

I know this is an older video but on iPhones I know in the Bluetooth settings on your devices you have to hit the info “I” and turn on “show notifications “ and that should allow your texts to show. Hope it helps someone.
