Next time try it on straight roadway because u were going on hill and if i know well fabia can reach 100 km/h for 12-15 sec at least 1.4 MPI like my fabia

1.4MPI 50kW have acceleration 15.4 sec. Learn how to shift. This pushrod engine have strong low rpm band, it feels and acts much stronger in normal driving cca 2000-3000 rpm.

I have one, but a manual gear. Love it especialy because i find it has a lot of power in low RPM (< 2k RPM), as a petrol car. I came from a J11 1.5 diesel and the transition to petrol was very very easy, wasn't expecting that.

You need to rev the engine to the maximum rpm son!!!
The pushrod motor runs out of power at high rpm, your better staying in the powerband. You get a whopping 93 lb ft of torque at diesel like revs though . Engine management light is on though and these are not quick but it doesn't take them that long to 60
Having the same car i know he already shifted late for max acceleration u should shift at 4.5 max rpm
