Mac Sabbath owes me a raincheck for a SF Bay Area show in like 2018? They were opening for High on Fire at an unseasonably hot outdoor event in the vicinity of the 21st BART stop. It was like 90 degrees, which we thought was pretty hot for the Bay Area back then. There were several bands on the bill, but I specifically wanted to see High on Fire, plus that band that plays Weird Al-style fast-food-themed parodies of Black Sabbath songs, and wears McDonalland character costumes on stages, except with little 'metal' touches....Anyway, Mac Sabbath never came on stage. I don't blame them. It would really have sucked to perform with those costumes in 90 degree heat....

Yes this singer is better than the original singer. Great guitar playing too but this needs a second guitarist like Ratt had. Their music was super full and rich and one guitar alone can’t cover that no matter how good the single guitarist is. That’s especially true when the lead comes in and that hollow sound is left that a bass and drums is not going to make up for. It doesn’t do it here or with any band. Also, if there’s no second guitarist to do the harmony lead with, why in the world is he not using a harmonizer. You can get one cheap these days. For under $200 you have one and any used old multi-effect unit has one and they’re intelligent harmonizers. My old Digitech multi-effect unit lets you select key and scale.

set up too close to the stage. Getting a bad mix from being so close. Much better choice would be to be back far enough to be picking up the PA audio. Being so close is causing distortion and hearing the stage monitors more than the PA. You can always zoom in so it appears to be closer.
