Teaching students, counselors, and pastors about mental health and research. Statistics is my favorite because I'm a nerd like that.

Standardized Scores - z-scores and T-scores
Straight to the point. Thank you.
Excellent video! Concise and to the point! Thank you!
Thanks. The intro music is a bit loud.
One video is hidden, don't know why, but yeah, I 've just graduated from the 2Min stats course..
I suggest to insert two more two-minuteses: 1. the empirical rule, which explains why do we care about having a normal distribution, and 2. central limit theorem, which explains why we can be 95% confident, or what is this 0.05 refers to. These topics might seem a bit complex, however, with your style of teaching, I am sure you can make them digestible. That said, this video is great!
Yeah, these types of errors are really confusing. The examples explains it very well and funny as well. Thanks.
Do your research. This is so easy to find out. The top goal scorer last season was Mabasa with 16 goals. Do better!
I'm about to take my NCE and this was such a helpful overview/ review! Thank you so much!
Great video! Keep it up!
I have a question, you are doing multivariate analyysis using multinominal logistic regression?
very helpfull nicely explained
Dr. K, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I feel like I have a better understanding of the different theories and what they entail.
The interpretation of the passage seems incorrect based off of historical findings. Rabban Gamaliel did say that if the Jesus movement came to naught then it was not from the Lord. Yet, the movement he was referring to was the original Netzarim that the historical Rabbi Yehoshua formed with James as the first Paqid or leader in Jerusalem. This was the movement put on trial and not splinter groups or Romanized Christianity. This demonstrates that Yeshua was not the Messiah since his movement officially ended in 135 ce and disappeared from history in 333 ce. Rabban Gamaliel predicted he would become like the other false leaders he mentioned. Since this could be proven from credible sources, he and his Netzarim sect had no divine origin. I just realized this about a year ago after being a believer for decades. Difficult to accept yet so historically accurate.
I love these videos, Dr. K!
I am incredibly grateful for this whole series! They are so helpful! Thank you :)
Dr. K! Here reviewing for CPCE!
Do you think you can intertwine these modalities?
This is super helpful
This is exactly what I needed
LOVED this. I think I'm starting to see these theories as "denominations" of the same mission. In view of Christian integration, I could see substantial biblical overlap in every theory presented.

I'll be uploading quite a few more videos later this week, so stay tuned! If there are any concepts that you don't see, let me know and I'll add more!
If you have any questions when you watch these videos, feel free to add a comment and I'll try to respond if I can!
Perfect. Thank you.
Krestine I really satisfied to your breif forward and detailed discussion you gave ,you are really great keep it up.
thank you for this exp. but i have ques.that is can we use logistic regr. for unmatch and non scale data?
Great video!!!!Thank you! God bless.
Thank you
Ma'am Is this multi variate regression model?
great job Kristen. thank you much
It is a smart way. One thing you can do in Keep is adding Tags. For example, #CriticalSource
Yes! I did use this strategy as well.
Thank you!!
Finally I passed the MFT Exams after the third trial thanks to dr Williams , who helped me with his study tips and materials including questions and answers I am recommending him to you aspirants text /WhatsApp +1(970) 578-9743 and thank me later
Thank you!
Wow. This is awesome!!! Thank you!!!
waw very good
It is very helpful.
Thank you very much for this in-depth explanation. this is very helpful for econometrics newbie like me :)
Just met you in my interview and got in! Thanks for answering our questions
I am doing a paper on ethical issues in the supervisor-supervisee relationship and how it relates to the professional-client relationship. I found this video very helpful, particularly the resources mentioned. Thank you.
Regression equation Y(predicted) = B(IV1) +B(IV2) etc + Bconstant ANOVA gives you an F-value t-test gives you a t-value p-value is alpha, significance (<.05)
Some additional stats terms and thoughts: alpha - significance level Cronbach's alpha - used in factor analysis to measure reliability (.7 or higher) eta squared or partial eta squared - effect size (.01-.06 small, .06-.14 medium, .14+ large effect) Cohen's d - another measure of effect size (.2-.5 small, .5-.8 medium, .8+ large effect) Cramer's V - measure of association between nominal variables in chi-square (crosstabs) Levene's statistic - shows homogeneity of variance if non-significant Welch statistic - can be used if Levene's test is violated One way ANOVA - one categorical IV (3 or more levels) and one continuous DV Two way ANOVA - two categorical IVs (creating multiple combinations of group membership) and one continuous DV Variance is the square of the standard deviation - shows how spread out the data is
Clarifying ANOVA - when you have more than two groups to compare, the ANOVA takes all the groups together and assesses whether or not the means from the different groups are significantly different from one another. It can't tell you which group is different from another, just that the groups are significantly different. To do follow-up comparisons you would run independent t-tests on each pair of groups to find where the differences lie. Why not just do that from the beginning? Increased chance of error. If you run an ANOVA on only two groups, the significance will be identical to that of an independent t-test. I was incorrect in the video when I said that ANOVA doesn't compare the means.
If you look at the actual equations, the t-value is calculated by subtracting the means, while the ANOVA F-value is calculated by dividing the variance between groups by the variance within groups. Thus, it is true that t-tests are a more direct comparison of means. However, ANOVA is making inferences about the mean from variance (which is the square of the standard deviation). Either way, the t-test can only compare two groups and ANOVA can compare many groups.
Ex-Post Facto, doesn't mean archival per-se. It means the design measures an IV or effect that has occurred naturally/already in the population.
Thanks, Paul! That helps and makes sense.
I found a different way to calculate the critical leverage value - not sure if this is different in the sixth edition but on p. 706 (7.1.4 Outliers) it explains that the lunneborg (1994) critical h = 2(k/N) where k is the number of variables. So thats how they get .25 as the critical value in the sixth edition - 2(44/351) = .25. I also deleted the missing value cases first to give me 351. It seemed to follow the sixth edition better.
I'm wondering if it's different in my addition, because my book says there are 18 missing values. And 11 outliers.
CORRECTION: In this video I use syntax for the Log base 10, but you need the natural log which is ln(variable). The results are very similar, though.
